I look forward to your book in October! (Yes, I preordered already) Last year I watched some of your painting videos and bought prints for Christmas presents. (Everyone loved them too!) I'm just in awe of your talent! You make it look so easy, but I know how that goes. I am a resin artist and it's taken me a lot of time and trial and error to figure out my crafting. I'm so early! (And yes, while it depends on the exact era/country, most castles as you'd think of them were essentially little walled cities all to themselves. So were most big estates, for that matter! It takes a lot of people to keep a castle clean and running, and then other people have to support those people!)
You know what the shape of that kind of reminds me of and like the color and stuff the princesses keep from The NeverEnding story! I'd love to see that done

I've searched online and can't seem to find anything similar. I have arthritis in my fingers and this looks like it would make things so much easier...

Thank you! I use Ave’s Apoxie Sculpt. It’s SUPER strong and sticks to nearly everything! It does have a higher price but it’s well worth it! Just wear your gloves and ventilate your space. I developed an allergy to it because I didn’t do that and now I have to be EXTRA Careful whilst handling it. So don’t be like me! Wrap your head! 😅

Could you paint your windows to look like they are circles and you could paint a circle frame mirror or glass to look like a portal window. Then you could change what you see in your window
Damn!! Now I want that rabbit 🐇 hole that is ALL the research into wether animals sleep walk. Other than we animals. Did we protect our sleepwalkers as hunter-gatherers because they were ours and nature just Willy-nilly selects for non sleep walkers in all the other animals??? Or do we all, all the animals sleep walk? Flamingos have split brains and sleep on one side? Is that what we’re doing?? Sharks sleep but move but dolphins half brain only sleeps 😮😮😮
If someone did live in the castle walls they’d likely be servants so still peasants. I don’t know what cultural rules fairies would have but I’m assuming European type so it would mostly be servants or some people who were really high up like close enough to the royals. Also ladders would be nice cause some might be too weak/have flown a long while/had a disability of some sort that made it harder to fly. Which leads me to where their silk comes from: Silk comes from silk moths, humans domesticated a species of silk making moths for silk a very very long time ago. Which unfortunately led to them being unable to fly, so maybe the ladders are for the moths. Also sleepwalking is likely a product of big brain-ness, animals that are smart enough can move in their sleep like dogs kicking and barking so I’d assume that it comes from having certain brain processes.
