You can make a bmw stop door ding ding, just pull the key out, , stuff it back into the tumbler... no more ding till the next time you open the door. Takes 2 seconds. You can also razor blade 1/2" out of the cable housing for the non working part of the twisted seat, gorilla tape it flush together problem solved. (Just make sure no twist / seat is lined up before you cut the housing)
Sweet video, liked this one a lot. When you scrapped the blue E39 did you take off the Shadowline trim around the windows? Those go for 100$ usually, or can you buy them new?
I have pulled them before and sold them. They are difficult to remove without bending them. I pull the M5 ones as they are gloss black, but I would recommend painting the polished trim over installing used sport trim.
My daily driver is a 320i m20b20 e30, I work on it and struggle with it since last year when i bought it, the car is not so comfortable, in the winter time i have a hard time starting the engine without some throttle, im thinking of replacing it but i dont know what car to get, I need something with no more than 2000cc engine, the taxes in Romania are really pricey for big engines... What would you reccomend me?
293 rear diff off the e39 manual is sought after for manual swaps fwiw, idk if that 100$ e39 had the open diff?..... . My e39it , I'm running the zf5 speed /turbo built s52 (real s52) , seems legit single piece drive shaft. M5 rear diff/axels/brakes(6 pot 135i fronts) . I would go 6 speed.... fcp sells a new e39 6 speed driveshaft for 650.. but a e46 m3 trans in unknown shape cost a lot to gamble , when I have a few zf's and clutch masters 850 twin 10 spline. 6 speed is 22 spline
I didn't even think about the diff, I'm used to the V8 e39 stuff, auto and manual use the same diff. I have another early 528i manual in the lot, I can pull the diff from to include with the other swap parts.
Cris where are you dude you are ok? love that e34 wagon
I taked to him... lotta content not loaded. He has been doing e30 work for Zack on the side. #notime
nice buy, i sold my '92 E34 last year . already miss that car . same color, Iceland Green

Useful knowledge as always.
If you have all 4 all weather floor mats the guy on ShopLifeTV has been looking for some.

I don't know much about the availability of cars over there, but either an e36 320i or an e34 520i both with the m50b20
love the e34 i grabbed a sedan a month ago and it's a 1995/6 as well. olympic edition love the color
man i'd love an e34 touring for a daily, especially a manual one. hope to see whoever buys it driving it around denver if it stays local
You and me both!
Super cool and what a deal! love the look of the e34 touring. So... what's that extra free turbo going on 😂
No real plans for the turbo at this point, just good to have around for now.
Thanks for the great video!!
I would buy the light color dashboard from the E39 if available, thanks
The car is already gone, are you looking for a tan dash?
That touring was a great score! Plus a whack of parts. Never seen a e34 with a flashlight. Did you end up scrapping that stock exhaust?
Thanks, I did end up scrapping it, but I have many more including a few m5 factory rear sections.
Tourings are so cool would love one one day
Nice good find
How is it snowing? It's summer already.
Also, my car is Island instead of Oxford.
it will snow in May here sometimes

@@DENVERBEERANDOIL didn't you just clean up the shop for the super bowl? there's parts everywhere again! hahahaha
Yes sir, it's not too bad though. Cleans up easy at this level
