INSANELY CLOSE RACING AND BIG CRASHES ON DAY 6 IN THE SLALOM | World Cup Sylt 2023

The wind returned on day 6 of the 2023 schauinslandreisen Windsurf World Cup Sylt, presented by got2b, allowing a further three eliminations to be completed in 10-20 knots of wind and choppy / wavy waters, while Sylt’s infamous shorebreak claimed a few victims, but most survived largely unscathed. With 7 eliminations now being sailed the second discard comes into play meaning one rider goes from 12th place at the start of the day, to now taking the event lead! hey, I was wondering, is there no women racing? Because there have been three days of mens racing and 2 days of mens freestyle but no women event (or did I just miss it?

„Becker“ 😁 I am using a neck protector which is usually for cart racing. I modified it a bit and attached it to my impact vest so hopefully safe me in some hard catapults
