I have almost all retro consoles i can say this GTK is the beat for now (between the Android tv of course) Also i want to thank you for all your advices,because you that i decided to buy this GTK. I ended up putting Launch Box on mine, since the stock set-up did not recognize many of the roms and got worse after updating. Should have bought the Android box version and saved the money.
11:52 They put plastic shielding around the chipset? Ye, thats weird for sure, never seen anything like it. I love the GTking pro design with the passive cooling, now thats a solution worth its name.

They sell the Pro just like an android box.. Where the GT-King comes with EmuElec. You can also use EmuElec image on the pro by only adjusting the boot file.
They really need to apply some pressure to that heatsink, otherwise I'm not sure it's that useful. Some solutions just seem like the designer had no idea what he was doing.
hi,thxs for the videos, can you help me i have a little problem with my gt kink pro, my xbox controller is connected to it but when i restart it ( don't know an other way) with my sd card with emulator and games for play, my controller xbox is no more connected and i can do nothing???
Hi there Wicked. When benching Sega saturn and showing Daytona USA may not be fare as on real hardware the game runs aT 20fps and less. Maybe try Sega rally instead which runst at 30FPS. great video as always.... Thanks
Whatever Chinese Android TV box one can pick up out there, they're all Amlogic and made the same. No real passive or active cooling. No real heatsink (ribbed one). Just a simple metal plate. To make the box cheaper to produce, the chip is facing downwards, holes being on a bottom. You do not have to be an engineer to see the problem here. Heat, hot air, steam & hot gases are going up not down. Even a person with a grade school only knows that.

Try settings and see if audio has been set to HDMI sometimes it grabs different output and doens't work that way.

I thought a lot buying a GTK but ended up with an PlayStation TV.
I think GT king models are in mid tier class for emulation
