This is actually a design that many people use. I recognize it also from the channel “homemade guns” who made it out of cardboard. The internals are the same, but the hammer is not functional and it does not shoot anything. However, that can be easily fixed just by watching this video.
@@Soolosoyyoono. Because his templates are for cardboard, the thickness is much less. What I would recommend is making your own, by tracing out the gun on a drawing app (I use ibis paint), and then printing out your own templates. What I can also do is send you my templates that I made for a rubber band gun of the same model.

When a friend and I made ours we used a different method for the cylinder. We used a larger block of wood to start. After drilling the 6 chambers we turned it over and drilled another 6 holes but only half way through. then turned the block down until half the second flutes were left saving the need for lots of chiselling, Hope this makes sense. Best wooden Colt I have seen!!!

May I please get a blueprint? I’m a history nut and I love rdr2 so this model of revolver is my favourite plus I just found out how strict Australian gun laws are, I’m not able to buy a soft bullet/gelblaster version of the colt m1873 so I’m hoping I can make this in time for Halloween 😅

In 1962 I had one like this mine was from Mattel and was plastic with metal cases and plastic bullets. Yours will probably last longer all you need now are some Greenie Stick-em caps and you will be set for loud smokey toy gon fights!
