currently using the wooting 80he. its absolutely worth the money. especially for the zinc alloy. its the way it feels and looks that makes it top notch.

My favorite keyboard is the SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL. I love its compact size, and I appreciate features like Rapid Trigger and Rapid Tap, which enhance the overall experience. In my opinion, it offers everything you could want in a keyboard, and its premium build quality adds to its appeal.

Although I only own 2 keyboards (one of them very old), My favorite keyboard is my modded razer blackwidow v4 75. I love the compressed 75 percent layout and I love the mod-ability. I have make shift "rapid trigger switches" on there made of POM with custom topo keycaps, a tape mode, more foam mods, and a space bar mod.
For me, this wired keyboard setup works, although I do wonder what the true wireless keyboard experience feels like.

favorite HE keyboard right now is probably the nuphy halo65he, when you factor in the price of the switches alone the board is a downright steal, plus it just looks sick

My favorite keyboard is the keychron q1 HE I feel like it’s being way over looked. $219 wireless, Bluetooth and 2.4ghz rapid trigger, socd, and it’s sound and built like a tank. Completely customizable as well. Just a diamond 💎

my number 1 is the Apex pro TKL. I use a 2019 copy, it is on it's last breath :D Honestly, the build quality, the features, the looks, steelseries really got it spot on. I like it how they updated the software to the point that this one has all the features of a new one. rapid trigger, snap tap, 0.1 mm, everything. I hope I win, if not, merry christmas to the guy who does! :D

I had the apex pro tkl and it was probably the most overpriced thing g I ever bought. The keys are wobbly, the backlights on 4 keys failed at 12 months. Just not worth the cost at all

My favorite keyboard is the one I got a long time ago, Drop CTRL V1 Mechanical Keyboard. It is my first (and only) semi-DIY/modded keyboard. It doesn't have any bells and whistles, but it works, sounds as thocky as I can get it, and is pretty reliable. I am also very much a TLK kind of person like you and it's been my main for the entire time I've had it.

T, we longtime viewers appreciate that you don't follow the trends with your reviews. You're one of the few content creators who review tech from the perspective of an actual gamer.
As for my favorite keebs, I have both THE Steelseries Apex Pro Mini Gen 2 and the Turtle Beach Vulcan II Tkl Pro. You hit right on the head the pros and cons of each brand's offerings (the SS Gen3 is similar to the Gen 2 is many ways)..
Again, I'm a longtime viewer of the channel, going back even facial hair and pre-tats. Yes, I sat through your goatee phase - that alone should be the reason you choose me for the SS Gen 3 board. 😁
Happy Holidays to you and yours! 🎄🎆

my favourite has got to be my corsair strafe rgb (the only keyboard i've used for the past 10 years!), but if I had to pick from those in the video it'd be the GMMK3 Pro HE, just ordered a GMMK3 custom build as a replacement for my strafe

I don't own any of the boards I'd consider a favorite or ideal for me. I prefer a TKL but I could make a 60 work. I must have HE switches for per key adjustments, snap tap/socd, and rapid trigger. I prefer web software but installed software is fine. I'd choose between the Apex Pro TKL, Huntsman V3 Pro TKL, Drunkdeer A75 Pro, or a Wooting 80HE.
I love how you still flip your spacebar key. I was waiting for you to mention it some time during the video haha.

Great products and honestly new ideas for keyboards.
I'm rocking the Corsair K70 RGB Pro Mechanical Cherry MX Speed Linear Switch. I originally bought it when I build my PC and I wanted a keyboard with media switches and this was on sale. I've recently took it a part and put foam inside. Solid keyboard. But now I want one with better features, especially snap tap.

Hey Techne, my favorite keyboard right now is the Leobog Hi75 as I’m a cybersecurity student and love a good typing experience when doing schoolwork. I would love a gaming keyboard though because I’m big on fps and hero shooters, but I’ve never tried all of this new fancy tech!

  • @refragged
    @refragged วันที่ผ่านมา

Thanks, Techne. Great video as always. I've tried almost every Hall Effect board out currently and have settled on the Arbiter Polar 65 Pro. It's really the sweet spot for me in regards to comfort, sound quality, and performance. I sold my Wooting 60HE and 80HE. Even with mods, they sounded like shit. Runner up is the Apex Pro TKL Gen 3 but them not using HE switches for the entire board at that price range is a little icky, IMO.

I just got the special edition Keychron K2 HE and as far as hall effect keyboards go its great. Has 3 way connectivity (wired, wireless, and bluetooth). Super easy web based software. Its got one of the best sounds to it too imo if that sort of thing matters to you. Its also considerably cheaper than a lot of the other HE keyboards out. I only paid like $135 for it. I would recommend you check it out if you're looking for a HE keyboard.

Rapid tap and dash tap sounds interesting to me. but what i did notice is that i wasnt subscribe despite watching many of your videos to help me decide what product i want to buy. Great stuff as always Techne. You should definitely check out the new Logitech X Pro TKL Rapid. I’ve honestly never been fond of Logitech boards in the past, and they’re definitely playing catch up. I like their simplistic designs but they always just feel scratchy and sound terrible. Something about their new rapid board just speaks to me. They finally lubed their stabs, they added some dampening, the switches feel nice and smooth, and it just looks clean. I’m not sure if it’s 8k though, and tbh I don’t care much about the polling rate. Just wish it was wireless.

    for me it's
razer naga due to the buttons its very useful.
razer turret now that i own 2 laptops that razer turret is awesome device.
razer tartarus pro, this combined with razer naga just about any extensive tasks can be turned into alot easier, especially repetitive tasks like job applications for example, you can speed hotkey alot of stuff. blocks of texts into 1 button, etc. but the 2 devices combined makes the potential sky rocket as far as removing limitations.
as far as "headset", i no longer wear headsets, because the samsung buds2 essentially gives the quality of a headset in the size of an earbud that can fit in your pocket, and if i am not using the mic, i then use jlab pop earbuds which is long battery life, cheap cost, comfortabld and good quality, but it's missing the mic of samsung buds 2. i keeep both in my pocket for always have battery uptime. because of how good earbuds have become i no longer wear headsets, and i don't got complaints about it.

I would disagree with most of this list, and it's mostly because I'm probably more for customization (Hardware and software) and very heavy into software support, which is probably why I cannot really seem to get away from wooting. nevertheless I do agree with the nuphy air60HE/air75HE, just if i can get some confirmation if they have analog input for controller modes? that would be sick.
also wanna have a look at the Keychron K or Q HE series of keyboards? I'm sure you would actually love the Q1 HE Carbon black! Even if the latency is a little high, you will probably like it!
