Your death is always credited to the person who hit you last. No matter how long ago and how much damage, if you take any from a player or a scav and die in that raid - last damage dealer gets credit
That blacked head and dehydration combo is rough my guy 😅 i felt that death, happened to me a few times. For the armor, you can throw your armor on the ground and a new option shows up, you can then change plates
My 1st wipe, running solo because no one I know plays, with the steep learning curve and the few cheaters I've encountered it has no doubt been frustrating at times. But bro I'm loving this game, left DayZ behind after 3000hrs to come here not 1 minute wasted it's been great.✌

Blacked out head, is just like a blacked torso, 1 point of damage is death... Yeah, body armour isn't magic body paint anymore, you've got exposed fleshy bits. Still not looting ammo, that 63 stack of FMJ SX, MP7 ammo, is 50K+ easy on the flea. 33:43 Your 6B23 only has 206 points, it should have 246 points. When you barter it from Prapor it doesn't come with a back plate. So your back is only level 2 soft armour. You can get a level 4 back plate off L2 Prapor. 39:00 Unlikely, some of the Russian body armours have odd shaped front plates, for the Groin protection. Which is now a hitbox like the armpit and throat. 42:13 Are you going to check around the fire barrel for a cheeky Graphics card? 48:06 That's better. 51:05 The lighting inside Interchange looks a lot better this wipe. 53:46 Why did you bring 2 Customs keys to Interchange? that's just wasting 2 slots in your secure container. What would you craft ramen out of?

If they make seasonal weather like snow a regular thing, should it be synchronized with real world season or a system like choosing night raids? Meaning if your gear stands out like crazy in the snow you could opt into a summer match as opposed to a winter one? Since seasons could affect gameplay (I love watching tarkov but I don’t have a pc to play so this question may be idiotic due to my lack of actual gameplay knowledge)
Most just from playing the game for 7 years lol but I would recommend checking out the eft wiki for maps and also use the offline raid function to learn maps and extracts.
It’s a lot to take in at first, and having a lot less experience with this game than mr Halfman, I have a decent understanding of most the maps (excluding labs or streets), most the maps are pretty simple once u learn the landmarks
Yeah that's how I learned maps a lot of dying, a lot of scav raids and a second monitor with a map to see where I am, I died to mines on woods like 5 times cause in the beginning woods was my most hated map, customs and interchange was the first maps I learned. Then, moved to other maps, idk reserve yet, labs and lighthouse kinda sketchy for me, had maybe 10 scav raids and didn't get too far with task last wipe because it took me like 10-15 raids to get the golden watch to prapor. I am bit better now with maps and pvp
Snow isn't remotely THAT crunchy lol. I hate that it's so loud, it's a giant beacon saying "I'm here, please kill me!" You have to stomp pretty hard in snow to get close to that kind of sound. And we're supposedly creeping around. Sprinting, sure I'm ok with the sound. But even crouched and creeping slowly sounds like walking on Corn Flakes and glass shards. Hell, I don't know anyone that SLAPS their feet down like that when jogging lol. Also, a tip for anyone having the same issue as him, and I know the game is random, but I've found boatloads of noodles in Ground Zero trying to get the first few quests done.
The reason dehydration killed you straight away in the first raid is because of your blacked out head. With a blacked out head, as soon as you take any damage you die. At least I think

A very late comment but I just forgot to do ans now it's 3:30am. Anyway, got tarkov today and so far, I'm doing okay. Four raids total 2 scavs and 2 PMCs. I got just completely destroyed on my first pmc raid but second killed one person, got a car battery from a dead scav and just walked out on ground zero using the flare exit. I spent maybe 5 minutes in that raid but we take the car battery lol.
~ 58:00 Mate, he shot you in the back almost point blank, full auto. You got lucky you lived for 2 seconds, should've been dead anyway. Armor in this game is too protective, too big TTK, imo. 1-2 chest taps should be the max.
Just a few tips, take them or leave them. This early In wipe if tasking is your focus id try and stack them all in as little of raids as possible. I usually take in a pistol and nothing else and get gear from scavs. You’re losing full kits with no money to replace them. Another thing I do to make sure I’m always profiting is I go in with an empty secure container so I can shove valuables that I can vender fodder even if I die I’m making money. This play style has helped me level up quick and get my hideout going fast. I end each wipe with over 40 mil and max traders, having the freedom to actually PvP and enjoy the game with good gear and guns. Early wipe I avoid PvP and get my tasks done grab some loot and I’m out.
@@CaptainAugust it’s about showing players how to get tasks done and where to loot and how to level up in the game and actually play the game the way it was designed. Staying level 14 the whole wipe is not how tarkov was meant to be played lol.
@bpa4life570 it doesn't seem like a guide for new players to me. Seems more like a rags to riches playthrough for entertainment. You'd really rather see someone do all the tasks pistol running in a series? That's so boring lol
And absolutely not, the recoil was the worse thing in the entire game. Guns dont shoot the ceiling after 2 bullets. That guys was defensive holding and angle, which means 99% of the time you lose, which is how it works. No more yolo yeeting around maps with a bulletproof armor using 1 of 5 meta guns in the games.

Tarkov is the best its ever been this wipe by far, the new armor, hitboxes, and recoil completely changed the game for the better.

Just playing the game and while you're playing have the map on ur second monitor or phone by the side, u can find the maps anywhere on the internet

I do miss the base stuff. Like getting load out ready and what unlocks. Feels kinda like it was glossed over this season.

To modify plates on armor you can drop it and do it in raid
