The look back when you offered food to Guppy cracked me up. Like "I've been asking for 15 minutes for food and you just offer it to him as soon as he shows up?!"
Classic family right there. The eldest has to ask and ask and ask again for it. The youngest gets offered the same thing before they even know they want it 😂
I'm not saying she shouldn't schedule the soft food. I'm saying she needs access to dry food 24/7, it is the healthiest way. Really. Doing this is harmful.
@@msmaria5039 maybe being laughed at? She may not know the word "toddler" but knows when both women laughed at her? Made fun of her? I will have to watch again for the timing of "MAD."
This was hysterical😂She's relentless. She at least worked for her food rather than languish and waste away like I might have under such extreme conditions.
Billi started licking her medicine faster when she realized Guppy was about to get food....she's such a good girl to hunker down and make sure she gets her medicine before leaving to get "Food"
you need to give her an association clock....like a color disk she can see getting to food color or a disk that gets eclipsed. If the disk is completely eclipsed, it is food time. ;-)
Any licensed healthcare professional knows that q12 hrs is just that! Billi’s persistence and commentary are so relatable. Lol. Keep on keeping on Kendra. No one is as committed to her Madjesty as you. 😊
It's like a little kid on a road trip asking "Are we there yet?" a million times even though it's been two seconds since they last asked. Billi's logic probably is "if I never ask, the answer will always be no."
The worst part about this is that Billi is so polite for a cat, so this isn't even bad 😂 i ignore my cat in the morning (when she wants wet food) until my alarm goes off- even though there's dry food down for her, she *must* have wet food, and will chew any wire, knock over any trash can or fan or lamp, and bite any exposed skin until she gets it!

This is my cat. This is my cat in a nutshell. My cat is the same age as Billi and CLEARLY understands language, and she has been known to harass me for up to two hours for food. When I start her on FluentPet later this year I can so imagine us having an exchange like this once she gets the hang of it. Right now she just screams at me and expects me to understand what she’s getting at. 😂
Good luck with the FluentPet! Will you be starting a TH-cam channel? It would be great to have another one to compare results, see how different animals respond when the training is taken seriously. I’d absolutely subscribe. Individual personality has to factor into it. The more personalities who share their progress, the better!
@@graciep.6984 Honest to goodness I might. My cat is a total ham with an enormous personality, and people have asked me to put her on TH-cam/social media before.
At least she doesn't have a toddler tantrum like one of mine does. He throws himself flat on his side a slides around the couch and chairs, pulling himself along with his claws. 😼 His name is Mitts, but he's "Mad Mitts" when he does this.
Have you ever thought about using a Visual Timer with Billi to let her “see” how long she has to wait? I used them with my special needs students. You can find them in most adaptive equipment catalogs. Imagine a clock on a stand that you can move where you need it; but instead of a clock face, there is a red section and a white section. The timer can be set for various amounts of time, as needed. I know she can’t see colors, but the red should show up as black. As the time counts down, the red section slowly disappears. When the time is up, the circle is all white and you can set it so a bell dings too. I really believe she would understand, and watching the timer would give her something to do besides holler for food. Anyway, it’s a thought.
I used to have a lovely cat who would pull the books off my bookshelves if I ignored her, or didn't give her what she wanted immediately she made her demands. She completely emptied my bookshelves one day. Bless her.
I loved when she changed it up and went to the "Help" button 🤣
and "look" button.
Clever girl! I was thinking she'd try "I Love You" after that one.
Me too. It reminds of the memes where the cat claims that they are dying bc they haven't eaten in the last hour. Now we know that it is true.
@@eddyunger1419 in all fairness 4ss my cays guilt stare conveys this pretty well when he is hungry for the eleventh time of the day.

Food, she said.
Mad, she said.
These human! They know nothing ! Mad!

Starvation was clearly imminent. Also the confusion when you didn’t respond right away. ‘Huh. This usually works. I’ll just keep pressing it’

As the eldest, can confirm.

Interesting that the buttons nearly completely replace "crying" vocalizations. My cats at this point would be doing their best Vienna Choir imitation.
Cats usually only vocalize to humans.
On the bright side, a cat without buttons would be doing a horrifying imitation of a crying human baby until you broke down.
At this point I’ve watched Billi so many times even I know where the food button is.
And the mad button!
It's hilarious how she thinks she can wear you down. 😂
