Hebat Nadhir Nasar.... he speaks what's on (depressed/lonely/bipolar/solitary) people's mind through short film.
From my point of view this is a story about life, kedewasaan, haunting past, uncertain future, hopes, responsibilities, loneliness,....
At the end, to know that those dialogues from his imaginary friends were just Dan's monologues hits so hard though. Kudos Nadhir!

very simple, short and full of messages. Dan said he felt lonely and that he wanted to leave everything behind including his job for a while, meaning he was tired but his imaginary friends convinced him that it wasn’t that bad, that he should be grateful for his job but little did he know, it was actually just him creating ‘dialogues’ inside his head. he was actually convincing himself. he was terribly lonely. he had no one he could talk to.
people sometimes forget that we, adults are humans too, we can’t always be independent. we still need someone we can rely onto but asking for attention from others may be hard because we’re expected to always be self-sufficient. thank you Nadhir for pointing out little unspeakable things like this. keep it up, anak seni Malaysia!! make more valuable masterpiece like this!💪🏻🫶🏻

Aku sebenarnya ingat cerita ni like cerita biasa je,sebab dia keluar kat FYP yt aku,aku macam malas nak tengok,tapi terdetik hati nak tengok,aku pun search BMW short,memang cerita dia deep gila,aku paham sangat story dia,dan story dia memang berlaku dekat diri aku sendiri,like time kat rumah,walau ada abg,mak,ayah but diaorang buat kerje sendiri,aku sorang² je,so kalau aku bosan aku main dengan imajinasi aku,berlakon ke ape ke,kat sekolah pun sama,aku akan main dengan hati aku je,aku paham gila,kalau bercuti pun sekejap je,aku pun tak selalu ke mana² kalau pergi bercuti ngan sedara mara memang aku anggap macam kat rumah
Edit: sesiapa yang maybe macam tak dapat story dia ke,story dia macam ni,Mierul or we can call danial dalam cerita ni,dia keseorangan,dia takde kawan,roy,sabrina and bulan tu just "kawan imajinasi dia",yang korang nampak Naddir tu, kan dia kata "saya paham" maksud dia,dia paham yang danial ni keseorangan,so dia makan sorang²,main sorang² semua sorang².aku paham gila semua ni,sebab aku pun mengalaminya sendiri,sejak sekolah rendah lagi,aku main sorang²,senang cakap aku main dengan imajinasi aku,cerita ni memang deep gila so yang paham je paham,memang gempak gila.
( Btw semua yg aku cerita atas tu (pasal maksud cerita tu) itu semua ikut pendapat aku,so kalau salah ke mintak maaf ok)

I like the way of how the story goes, eyy mmg lain la vibes diaa. With all of the sound effect plus lagu, memang kena la. Lagi2 part tukar scene,fuhh mmg baikk. Mmg nice la klau ada filem lain mcm ni lagii

This story hurts more when you realise that this story was a true story by Nadhir which mean this was HIS story. This was HIS past, and it was HIS imaginary friends.

Tgk thumbnail, dah terfikir Filem "Terbaik Dari Langit" yg juga merupakan filem melayu yg paling saya suka. Sampai FYP saya pun inspired by Terbaik Dari Langit, storyline pun berkaitan dgn UFO.
Filem ini pula, tgk depan masa owner villa keluar, saya dah jangka mungkin kawan2 lain tu dah meninggal/imaginasinya.
Saya boleh related sgt dgn mesej yg ingin disampaikan. Saya dulu pun study filem kat u, lepas graduate, kawan2 semua dah takde contact. Saya pun dah lama tak buat filem pendek.
Jadi, saya faham sgt perasaan keseorangan itu dan sgt rindu masa kat u. Masa tu, semua ade passion nak hasilkan short filem yg baik2.
sy dulu ramai kawan di sekolah , matrix, kat Univ… last2 bila dorang dah keje semua berubah sekwlip mata, kawan2 jd berubah 360 degree, sombong dan asyik nak tunjuk sape yg paling berjaya … amat bosan circle yg dorang kejar…sebenarnya nilai persahabatan tu yg x ternilai

Wehhhhhh dah lah aku nak nangis. Dah ah the way they had fun tu sebiji mcm aku dgn kawan2 aku had fun when travel. Main game, masak masak, pegi pantai makkkk ai. Pastu hujung2 tu keluar pulak “biasalah people come and go” wehhhhhh ni petanda ni aku kene ready kawan2 bawa haluan masing masing ke nanti 😭😭😭😭 huwaaaaaaaaa.
Begitulah kehidupan. Sooner or later kita akan tinggal sorang-sorang. Kawan-kawan pun akan ada haluan masing-masing. Enjoy-lah dengan kengkawan selagi masih bujang
