Awesome review Andy - I've fallen head over heels with SOAR - I too was sceptical because of the prices, but once you actually get the kit in your hands, look and feel amazing and superlight. There are no corners cut and so many technical features that us runners love. The shorts, singlets and t-shirts are like feathers. Once you start you won't stop ;) Enjoy Andy

great review andy and no surprise you've fallen in love, i'm slowly building up my soar collection too. everyone, unsurprisingly, comments about the price but when you try out the gear and it just works so well, you understand why you're paying more than many other brands. it's a marginal gains thing and also knowing the textiles and garments are made with high ethical and environmental standards, it's a no-brainer for me. hopefully you can report back on durability in (seth's) ten years time with the same positivity.

Thanks! Yeah it’s absolutely stunning… I found testing it in the rain and snow the second day I stayed dry underneath the whole time and stayed super warm. The cuffs are warm with a great thumb hole. The length sits just on my waist so it’s not the longest, but there is extra material on the back that comes down making it feel longer on the back. Overall it’s super warm as well as waterproof. It’s not got a hood so just bear that in mind

As someone who ‘runs hot’ I’ve struggled a bit with winter gear. Hate wearing tights and whatever long sleeved tops I try, even really thin ones, I tend to overheat in all but the coldest weather. Last week I ordered the wooltech jersey and the dual tights and have to admit after an hour in 3deg and light drizzle I am sold! I stayed warm, but not hot and the tights are like a second skin.
