Hi, thanks for the tutorial it helped me a lot. When I'm using cloud device I'm selecting the "desktop mode" becasue when I click on VM it won't work. Just the tip if anyone finds himself in the same situation.

HI, i need serious help, so when i add this firewall in gns3 and start, my console shows nothing it stays greyed out, yours shows firewall is booting but my shows nothing, it stays blank. I readded the firewall, different versions, firewall and antivirus is turned off, rebooted multiple times but this issue still persisit. Please kindly help me.
hi there, i guess you missed some of the process because older version is a bit tricky. you may try the latest version. Its more easier to install:

this response is kinda late for that but it might help is someone else has the same problem. Had the same problem with the console is greyed and the solution i found is that when creating a new template, when you import the .qcow2 file, you have to unzip the archive and select the file directly, i selected the zip file and it accepted it but that is the cause black screen problem (at least for me). so Unzip it and import the file.
Firewall wont ping the GW using "Cloud", followed all steps closely over and over and over again

hi Sir, Regarding the CPU utilization high usage. I only shared minimal ram for the GNS3 VM and also it will drop down after the configuration.

hi @Isuro, please check your GNS3 VM network adapter, make sure you are using the NAT as your network connection.
You may try to delete other network adapter present and double check your configuration especially the NAT gateway and default route.
I go crazy over this! All god untill I can not connect to internet...I have the free player...No internet. I can see the cloud in the arp but not get out

Not work for me... when i can ping my gateway nat i've "host unreachable" for the import fortigate no problem it's work fine, my nat network 192.168.10.0/24 (GW 192.168.10.254/24 on VmWare) i start Fortigate, Set ip 192.168.10.253/24 (edit port1 before) set mode static, set allowaccess ping http https telnet ssh... set dst 0.0.0.0/0 set gateway "192.168.10.254/24" i write "execute ping 192.168.10.254" it's the same network.... how i can "destination unreachable" it's a no sense...
