@@OldschoolRedtook me a while... 🤣 In the yard behind your Grain scrapes and indoor pig pen (at start farm) there's a tip point near the stairs. You have to open it first then you can load straw and chips. Makes sense when you think about it. It's a bio mass heater to produce the heat to dry grass etc.
After the first hour of playing I found the first problem. Unfortunately, I am afraid that there will be more of them thanks to the two versions of the map (food+, normal) In the Food+ version, the flour mill does not work, it has no reception and delivery zones. Which is quite a problem both for orders and for sales.
Do you mean the Grain Meal production? It seems to work ok for me. I was able to put wheat into it and get grain scraps out. I used the little frontloader to put in and take out.
I think the modders have just figured out how to get more return on their time modding from giants. If they get a small kickback for each download of one of their mods, why not include multiple of their own mods as required for a map like this? Why would you put as much work and detail into a dozen buildings that are included in a map when you could break them into one or two mod packs and triple your downloads to cover the extended development time? Or in a more positive sense they might want to someone else’s work in their project and the required mods give them the ability to share compensation with those people. For a modder, required mods are a way to increase compensation for themselves and others who may have built assets for a project. I think in that sense it’s a good thing if it increases cooperation between creators. I also think there should be maybe a size cap for the total of required mods with a map, maybe 100-200mb?
Anybody had problems planting on the two fields we start with on farm manager ? Im on xbox s eventually got it to download had to delete a few things i had dl from mod hub or rather deselect them before dowload started.
I wonder why we start out with 3 carrot fields. We have no starting equipment for carrots + there are no production options for carrots.. (on pc) *_correct me if i am wrong_*

Aug. 23, 2024 A few people tried downloading this map yesterday and it kept freezing at 50% or less. Wouldn't load. Some were on PS5, some on PC. Now with all this "glitching" stuff when trying to delete a building and the 18 mod download, I'll pass. I don't play maps where you have to download more than 2 mods. Never worth the trouble. In my opinion, this map is a mess and it doesn't surprise me that Giants passed it. They seem to pass a lot of stuff that's messed up.
It could be a great map, but the strange glitches, weird doors, missing starting equipment (for carrots), it'll be a hard pass for me. I hope the map author fixes the map. And as you also mentioned, i don't get it why Giants gave this map a ✅ for ModHub...
How did you decide that it is a mess, if you didn't even download and try it? Giants don't get to extensively test every mod and map, they are just people trying to make sure that mods don't break their game, sometimes errors happen. Plus the mods are free. You sound like an ungrateful, spoiled child.

@@maxtrein532I *think* what the commenter meant is having the option(s) to remove buildings if so desired to customize the map more to the players liking. If that is what they meant I couldn’t agree more. Celobuki has done that with their maps as an example, and it’s actually an awesome feature/option to have, and I do wish that more map makers would do the same. Yes, I do fully appreciate and admire the time and dedication a lot of these map makers have put into creating their maps and this is by no means any type of negative criticism towards them. I am simply saying or suggesting that if you’re creating a map with the purpose of sharing it with the public to also utilize and play on it, that it would be greatly appreciated if the buildings and decorations (minus decor such as decor homes for a town and such) could be removed _if desired_ so that the player could put down buildings of their choosing and customizing it more to their personal liking. This includes productions and sell points except ones that are map specific that use new or edited recipes/products. Customization options are a lovely thing to have and I really wish that more map makers gave the players as much customization options as possible when creating a map for public use/play. A map with no buildings (or very few) also isn’t much fun lol, as with that there are usually less or no people around making it feel like you’re playing in a ghost town; as well as not really having much to make any profit with when just starting out. How can you get any work done and make any profit when there are aren’t any production points or sell points to take product to? Not only that, there may be some buildings you actually really like and don’t want to bother removing or replacing. This is why simply having the _option_ to remove buildings/decor is a very nice feature to have in a mod map.
