All they need to do is remaster 2k14. They need to clean up all the crap animations, bs cheese (if there was any), and give us lit parks. No archetypes just attributes upgrades like in 14 and give us 3 main badges to pick to make silver 1 gold and 5 bronze. And u dont need to spend vc on everything. Lets just pray live gets this right.
Although 2k17 is very annoying the dribbling system is very good. we have insane variteys of moves to use and different animations for most players. it's the dribble heads and cheesers that find unrealistic animations in the game to past their defenders then 2k waits a little bit everybody learns how to do that move and 2k patches it in fairness. then everybody gets mad about 2k patching that. there is no way 2k can please everyone and their is always people trying to find glitched moves for online mode. They have too make it complicated to attempt to make stick skills matter as long as this game is online oriented dribbling skills will be semi complicated you can blame cheesers who would rather dribble out the whole shot clock then play fundamental basketball for this l. whoever read this whole thing u the real MVP

This is facts, a lot of the sluggishness in dribbling comes from 2K trying to counteract the community. These youtubers gotta stop posting cheese tutorials every year, it messes up the game for everybody else.

Idk why people hold 2K15 to this high ass standard it was far from the best, I just think cause the rep system & having different parks was something new so people had more fun with it, but the gameplay was just straight cheese especially after patch 4.

2k12: i aint play it
2k13: put your own badges on myplayer, Mycareer was fun, you could pull off hella combos
2k14 : we could dunk on everybody, and you could get ankles if you had the sauce, Crew mode was fun asf (park was ight)
2k15: left right cheese/demigods (best park 2k) fun asf though
2k16: ankles was easy to catch, everybody had a big ass player, only played Mycareer for badges, got boring after the patches (we hated it then but now we appreciate it because of how ass 2k17 is)
2k17: PARK IS ASS I BARELY PLAY, shit boring fam game trash

I love the dribbling in 2k 17. You can do way more of your own dibble combinations than 11. I think 2k 18 should be like 2k 17 when it comes to dribbling. People complain about the spam because they can't play defense

2k13 wasn’t really confusing at all because they had shot modifier where you had to hold L2 then use the right stick to take a shot but if you weren’t holding L2 your player would just continue to dribble
He talked about how you could bump people on defense and make them lose the ball..... he likes stuff like that but not being able to interact with the defense is good to him lol he’s wild
In 2k13, you needed to hold the right trigger and push the right stick up to shoot so how tf u gonna shoot when u tryna dribble, only if youre running the fast break and still i had no trouble
the back and forth that we see today was so deadly in 2k15 not to mention being able to go into a spin shot tap triangle and travel without it being called
2k13 is the GOAT imo
They should let u choose what controls allow u to different moves so u can take ur favorite controls and make it more comfortable and fluent
