- #AKS #Backup unlocks scenarios for #DisasterRecovery and application portability between multiple clusters. It uses #Azure Backup Vault to perform Backup and Restore operations for #Kubernetes objects (Deployments, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets...) and Persistent Volumes (PV).
Note: AKS backup supports PVs using only Azure Disk with CSI driver. There is no support for Blob or File Shares.

Great presentation Houseem. I was reading the official documentation, and your video helped me to clearly understand the full picture. Keep the good work.
What is passive DR for AKS approach in case of pv with azure file share type
@dellai, this is good , thanks for sharing , quick question , does it needs to have the secondary cluster provisioned already ? or at the time of disaster , first spinoff the AKS cluster and then restore the back up on it ?
This is a good one as I have a need for something like this but dreaded using velero as I got some data inconsistencies the last time I tried. Is there an Azure doc for this? Couldn’t find very useful information
THANKS GREAT @DELLAI--
Does azure Valut extension is also costable rather than storage
Hey amazing video thanks for this but had one doubt....
How can I extract the pipeline status for each stage or task in Azure DevOps and forward each pipeline stage status to Google Chat Hangouts by implementing this in a pipeline script.?
Each status of Azure Pipeline should be send to Google Hangout - like if it succeed at stage 1 than it should go stage 1 succeed >> similiarly if it fails stage 2 than it should go stage 2 failed or whatever the message would be
