    May you please explain Types of attention voluntary attention, Involuntary attention, Habitual attention and identical attention

    • @TheExplorease
      @TheExplorease  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Yeah sure. Sorry for the late reply. Was busy with some very urgent piece of work but I can explain you all these types of attention.
      1. Voluntary attention :- It refers to the type of attention when you actively choose to focus on something. For example, when you are in your class and you actively decide to listen to your teacher carefully by ignoring all other stuff around.
      2. Involuntary attention :- It refers to the type of attention where you don't consciously decide to focus on something. rather you start giving attention to something automatically without your control. For example, you are studying and suddenly you hear a loud noise. Thus, without your control you will start paying attention to that loud noise.
      3. Habitual attention :- It means that sometimes it becomes your habit to give attention to a specific type of stimulus. For example, it becomes your habit to give attention to the temple that comes to your way of your school everyday.
      And there is no such term as Identical attention according to me. So, this is all i know. Let me know if it is clear to you or not.

      1. Voluntary attention :- It refers to the type of attention when you actively choose to focus on something. For example, when you are in your class and you actively decide to listen to your teacher carefully by ignoring all other stuff around it is known as voluntary attention.
      2. Involuntary attention :- It refers to the type of attention where you don't consciously decide to focus on something. rather you start giving attention to something automatically without your control. For example, you are studying and suddenly you hear a loud noise. Thus, without your control you will start paying attention to that loud noise. It is known as Involuntary attention.
      3. Habitual attention :- It means that sometimes it becomes your habit to give attention to a specific type of stimulus. For example, it becomes your habit to give attention to the temple that comes to your way of your school everyday. It is known as habitual attention.
      4. Ideational attention :- It refers to the ability to focus on or to give attention and process the thoughts, ideas, concepts and beliefs that are being presented. For example, you are sitting in your class and your teacher is explaining you a certain topic. Thus, here you ideational attention will play a role and you will try to understand and process the topic being explained by the teacher. This is known as the ideational attention.
      That's all for these four types of attention. Let me know if it is clear to you.

      Sorry for the late reply....yeah so voluntary attention is a type of attention when you give attention to something consciously out of your own choice. Involuntary attention is when you give attention to something without your conscious control or intention. Habitual attention is when you give attention to something out of your habit.
