I have PTSD from my Vietnam experience - '68 to '69. Am still fighting that war in my head, but feeling better about myself. The VA has a program to help address such issues. Better late than never. Went through their program (12 weeks, one session a week) very intense and focused. I decided to tough it out. I've been through dozens of counseling sessions over an 8 year period with different folks. No one put their finger on the PTSD issue in all that time. The music you've posted is so cathartic.

None are alone with depression, I have seen death to many times in my short life. I guess thats what happens after 18 years of law enforcement, an 7 as a firefighter.
It consumed me an I felt there was no escaping the sorrow an pain behind fake smiles in front of others pretending to be strong. I found peace with the tune of a cello an then music such as this. Thank You whom ever made this, it helps more than any bottle of vodka... thank you so much!!!!

Does anyone else feel a sense of serenity when it comes to space and whatever is beyond? A feeling so peaceful that, even though life sucks sometimes, maybe even most if not all the time, you can take a moment to just breathe and truly appreciate that you just exist. And it’s not just about yourself, it’s about something more grand. Something bigger than ourselves, something to reach our hands out to and feel, not literally, but to think that we were gifted life to experience existence itself. It makes me want to shed a tear every time i feel like this. Is this what being a hippie is like?
I totally understand you. It's the wonder of being alive, to know that you know. The simple fact to know that you are, that you exist, in this total indescribably massive universe. We didn't come into this world, we came out of it, like leaves from a tree. We are the universe. In the beginning we were the big bang, and now here we are, the latest in the many expressions of the universe. Everything is temporary, even our most-of-the-time shitty lives, but there's beauty in even the suffering. It's all just an experience. You are the universe, nothing can hurt you. None of it matters and yet everything is sacred. We are all the same one, experiencing itself through countless eyes. Who am I? There will always be a part of itself that it cannot see. Like the snake chasing its tail. You already are that which you are looking for. We don't know each other and may never meet, but I love you and wish you health and peace of mind. Yes. Time and space are both so incomprehensibly large, I find it incredible that I am here. The motion of the universe over time has conspired to create a safe harbour for us all. A little corner of safety from the crushing effects of gravity and time. To be alive is a remarkable thing, on this spinning celestial object we call home.
Just in case someone out there is having a rough time in life right now: Believe in yourself. Believe that you want better for yourself and your life. You truly can do anything if you put your mind to it. Never let anyone put you down or tell you you're not good enough. You're more than good enough. Grown up with new age music. When I was a kid, I loved ambient new age music. Enigma, Delirium, Enya... Especially Enigma and Michael Cretu. Now that I am older I Love to listen to downtempo ambient music, space ambient and psy-chill music. Especially space ambient music. It brings me freedom from stress and noise. Love it. It is the language of peace and tranquility.

My insomnia has been really bad lately. I have barely slept in three days. A friend of mine suggested music, so I decided to take a short nap and I found this and fell asleep to it. I actually managed to get a full sleep cycle in and I feel slightly less dead. Thank you.

I have the same, my first experience was when i was about 8 years old looking out the window to the nightsky and the stars and dreaming about the universe. I had the feeling of homesickness, It was giving me rest. It is a very interessting feeling to never forget. Now i'm 30 and look sometimes up and remember my childhood and fantasy about it🌃🌠🌟
