I'm late but Jungkook's rapping style in this is perfect for the genre. The genre is nu metal and a LOT of nu metal rappers have a higher pitched rap style.
I like Jungkook's "chipmunk rap" too. It does sound like Seo Taiji the original singer, also a bit like GD. Hope BTS will make rock songs too, looks like it's the only genre they haven't make.

Jungkook was born to perform… or create, produce direct or whatever he decides he wants to do in relation to his artistry… he was made for this. Even though he’s struggling to get that flag out , he remains calm and composed and doesn’t miss a beat. Reminds me of the fake love performance mma or mama 2018 can’t remember which but his microphone wasn’t working after they had their huge opening dance sequence for it and right after his part with rm in the beginning you can see him reaching back and grabbing his mic pack while simultaneously dropping to his knees with Theo others for the choreo and he legit did not miss one beat… he came forward and did his parts on the hook and chorus and at one point was only using one hand bc he was holding the pac behind his back but still his body did not miss a beat… he still had it in his hand during too his part where they do that slow ripple of all the members at yoongi s part and still has it in his hand at that point and got it back on his pocket shortly after that… I never would have known bc he was so perfectly on time regardless.. I happened to catch the fancam of him and it’s the only way I noticed it bc he’s not drawing attention to it… born singer and performer. Honestly they all are born for this… they kill themselves to be as good as they are but their message is JUST as important as content and I think why they have such a genuine fan base that just loves everything about them bc they’re so authentic and they’re at the top right now and they’re not slowing down… they’re always trying to one up themselves instead of being complacent bc they’re the biggest group in the world. Regardless of how high they’ve become, on the inside they keep each other grounded IMO and never act like they’re better than everyone else even though for most they really are the top. Tons of amazing artists that make incredible gorgeous music or art… but bts is beyond the full package with each individual being far above average… but the 7 together are this unstoppable super group who care so much about the group.. not all trying to be the star and getting all the attention… they want to give the best quality content and performances bc they care so much. It’s a beautiful thing to witness and I’m so proud of them and so proud to be an army 💜
