I don't like using the command mode to jump to folders. IDK if you've discovered this yet, but you can mark a folder (and line) using m and then jump to that folder and line (the line is the highlighted file/folder) by pressing ' . 'h defaults to your home directory. It's much faster although you can have much more bookmarks with your multichar version. I also have them preconfigured in my vifmrc: mark 3 ~/mp3
OTOH, I somehow find automounting annoying. I only want drives to connect when I tell my computer to do so. To work around the inconvenience of having to mount usb devices, I assigned a hotkey on Vifm to run a script to quickly connect/disconnect the drive and jump right into the folder it is mounted to.
