hey in mid january im going on a cruise to the Caribbean's, stoping at 4 places 1)San Juan, Puerto Rico 2)Philipsburg, Netherlands Antilles 3)St Thomas, Virgin Islands - U.S 4)Samana, Dominican Republic. im going to bring my surfboard there and planning on surfing each day i stop at those islands, whats tthe temperature mid january will i have to bring a wetsuit? which beaches am i able to surf at thats more popular. is it dangerous to surf one of those places i surf in new york and new jersey
the water at Mullet Bay is always warm, sometimes not anywhere near as smooth as this video lol they go surfing in Mullet Bay I'm going back to St Martin the end of September for two weeks. Been many many times and love it. You want info let me know

i live in maho well live not tourist your parents hav to work there for u to live there well it can be just one of them well my parents work there my dad professional chaf my mom works in the new stor inside the hotel well and i live there and maho beach is great

@82fighter82.. In mid jan its around 30 degrees (never changes) on (St.Maarten, Philipsburg).. You can go to Mullet Bay beach or Dawn Beach

Mullet Bay , but it can get really rough there sometimes. I would recommend Maho beach tho.

mullet Bay was my favorite as was Dawn Beach.

I lived on Baie Rouge for a year but Baie Longe is just as nice (Dutch side)

The airport beach is called Maho. But Cupecoy is way better.

The best by far is Happy Bay, further north, then Pineal Island, then Bay Rouge or Mullet.

If you don't mind drowning, Bay Rouge is perfect. You can see Sydney Pottier's house though.
