We are going to Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, which is about 80km to the north. Do you think I can go there without needing the ETC card? 3. Overall, how was the driving experience? Was the traffic heavy? Sorry for the many questions.
About gas, it was full tank when we rent it, in return you have to return the car in full tank as well. We paid like about ¥4,000 for 3 days, but it depends on the rented car, the one we rented was not a hybrid type that’s why our gasoline is a bit expensive. I suggest to choose wisely your rented car. We also went to Churaumi Aquarium which is really far from the Naha Airport but it was ok, the traffic is fine knowing that japanese people which is very discipline when it comes to driving. All in all I recommend to rent a car when visiting Okinawa to maximize your travel experience.
