Yugoslavian Parody of Eurovision (1987)

"It is important to win, not just to participate!" This is the slogan of a music parody of the Eurovision Song Contest in which Yugoslavia has never succeeded in winning. Now, there is an effort to invent a unique formula to achieve the desired victory. Representatives from nine European countries will participate in the "Yugovision Song Contest," but they are all Yugoslav pop stars who will sing their biggest hits in the languages of the countries they represent. Regardless of the voting results, Yugoslavia will finally triumph.
This video is an edited version of footage from 1987. It may contain audiovisual that were not available prior to 1987.
