Adam Ellis sorry noone explained, when you punch the dwarf king, brick screams ”TWENTY!” which apparently means a crit. If you keep hitting quickly, it can bug out and brick can keep screaming TWENTY a few extra times
I was looking to make a Melee Zane run and as per usual you deliver right on time. I will definitely take inspirstion from this. You're the matching grip to my life joltz.
I really hope they’re gonna add melee weapons in the next game or at least something like gloves that specially focus on melee attacks instead of weapon effects. Melee always feels so clunky on higher levels when you’re not playing an actual build that focusses on it.
Yeah, but honestly the Melee Guardian Rank Perk (was it Groundbreaker?) makes Melee what I think it should have been the whole time. A way for you to kill a low health enemy if you have to reload or something, even if you are playing a non melee focused VH. But on the other hand able to wreck enemies on a melee build
I remember on my melee Amara run I one shot Katagawa with the buttplug after thinking meleeing him would be impossible. Probably the funniest BL3 moment I've had so far.
Melee amara was my first instinct upon getting borderlands 3. Everytime i struggled with a section i went back to my comfort zone and went melee build. Then once i bought it on pc i did my whole run up to max level with a melee build. It just feels cool with amara’s lunging melees
Hey Joltz, love the vid as always. I just wanted to give you my counterpoint to your argument on the anoint system: imo anoints are similar to weapon parts in BL2, while still being a little different though. If you're in BL2 endgame, you wouldn't take a DPUH with a different grip than Torgue, that's a no brainer: more mag, more reload speed, you can really tell the difference between that and any other grip. The same goes to the anoints in BL3: why take a Monocle without the 300/90 anoint, or a Monarch without consecutive hits? The anoints elevate a gun to their fullest potential and, with some guns that are performing worse than others, a suitable anoint can make them usable in different situations.
You know, Joltz... this video makes me happier but also more depressed at the same time. Dedicated drops are still so messed up. It's bad enough trying to farm something you want during a playthrough, but it's a whole lot worse trying to do it at 60, on Mayhem 10, AND get the right anoint. 😡😢 Buuuuuut... at least I know I'm not the only one having that problem, so thanks, for what it's worth. 😂
I guess the Sawbar and AAA may be the new Gubs of at least this playthrough. I'm telling you though, the Gub has to make a return in the Krieg DLC. It just makes sense.

Every time I farm Savage lee and I say ok this is the last run, he drops the Harold, I’m like wow it took you long enough 🤣🤣
