I was just thinking last night that I was hoping you'd put out a tops of 2021. I wasn't sure since there wasn't much content this year. Thanks!

finally, a new video! it's been a while, you've been missed :) A lot of channels focus on heavier games and that's just not very relatable to those new to the hobby. It's really nice of you to cover a wide range of different complexity levels.

Bomb Squad is also a reimplementation of the TMG release in 2013. Nice list, I like the diversity of games.

Great to see you back with another vid Jeremy. It’s been too long. I enjoy hearing your opinions. I’m looking forward to giving Imperial Steam a try as well. It looks great and I really like one of the designer’s previous games, Lignum.
Best to you in ‘22. Cheers!

Did you get a chance to play Brian Boru?
Thanks for the video! Your year end list has been my favorite year in review video for the past few years.

I did and I'm not a big fan of it. The trick taking feels less than exciting, since everyone gets something every trick and generally the consolation prize isn't that much worse than a win. There are only a few crucial rounds each game, it feels like, and then it comes down to who (fairly randomly) was able to draft the higher card in the chosen suit. That's underselling what's going on a bit, but ultimately I feel that Joraku is a better trick taking/area control hybrid.

New to your channel...just subscribed. Looking for Varuna but can't find it anywhere....is it available in US or is a KS exclusive?

That Whale Riders image looks familiar 😄
Which Knizia games from this year didn't you like?

Into the Blue and High Score are too simple to be of interest to me and the Heckmeck card game is pretty bad if you're not playing with 5-6 (it's fine at 5-6).

The most famous game in Lookout's 2-player line is probably Patchwork :D

      True, that slipped my mind.

@@jeremyreviewsit3213 That may be the mark of a classic. Feels like it's always been there.
