- The SPREEWALD is located in the southeast of the federal state of Brandenburg. The branching of the river Spree, expanded by canals, has created a beautiful floodplain and moor landscape that is a biosphere reserve. There are a few villages in the Spreewald that you should have seen: pretty Lübben and the museum village of Lehde, the Sorbenburg Raddusch and the railway museum in Burg, the port of Lübbenau with the boat trips, the Wotschofska restaurant in the middle of the forest, Schlepzig and Luckau, the museum village the Sorbs, Dissen, and Cottbus with its pretty old town and the castle of Count Pückler, which is well worth seeing.

_Wie wunderschön! Man darf es kaum sagen, aber ich als Ossi war noch nie so richtig im Spreewald.... :( es hatte sich einfach nie ergeben. Nun sehe ich, wie schön es dort ist, jetzt von Hessen aus ist es eben sehr weit und es ist nie genug Zeit übrig... super Doku und sehr viel Hintergrundinfos, super interessant. Wunderschöne Natur und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten/Museen, richtig toll dort, vielen Dank, ich habe es sehr genossen. Viele Grüße, Angela_
