I listen to this song too much. Our relationship was shit but we had been together for so long it felt like it was just right to stay together. What are you supposed to do when you can no longer work through the problems, and the arguments become permanent? And then when we finally decide to go our separate ways she can’t help but try to fix things. Our past is beyond repair and she knows it but still she always “just wants to talk”. It hurts when we talk to each other and shes well aware of that pain. Honestly drives me crazy, I just wish she would let it go cause it seems the only way to get rid of this pain is by ignoring it.
