this channel has great graphics, but I think this channel (and all other sports channels) could spend more time on writing. listing facts and describing events have their place in media, but the channels that spend time forming narratives and fleshing out complex ideas and themes are the rare ones that will garner a loyal fan base.
1996 was my last year collecting as a teenager. So when I got back into it in 2007 I really got ripped of a few times thinking they held a lot more value than they did.
started around the same year too! but was never able to afford those desired brands and packs. ended my collecting days once the 99 lockout started. I still have some of the inserts I was able to acquire by trading, but it pales in comparisons to whats out in the market.
Panini no longer guarantees the patch on their cards, it could have been store bought. They lost a lawsuit and had to change the wording. Now that we all know these patches on the cards are fake and were never worn or touched by the player, does it change the value or desire of the cards? Will people chasing fake RPA's stop?
The card market is different for every player. Get the right guy at the right price and that market will alwasy be good. Pick the wrong guy and pay way too much and that market will always be collapsed. Get the right player! Your right ppl are paying way to much for unproven talent but i think that shows a precursor to what the rookie cards will be worth of the rookies that actually become the next greats of the game. The skys the limit for those players
There valuable because of what the player could become, a rookie with Luka’s potential you can see why his card would be valuable who knows how much his cards will be worth in 20 years time
Aight Brad I gotta give credit where credit is due. Enjoyed this one! Good pace and cool info. I know you been getting some hate but this mans plowing through tryna improve. Great piece!

I've been looking for a video like this for ever! I can't wait for the next one.
I have most of the NFL throwback threads auto/jersey cards from 2000 - a great and early set
Wonder what ever happened to my old basketball cards?
With all due respect, you sound like you are trying to be calm. Chill bro.

Gotta give credit to Brad with the narrating on this one, gets better everytime. 👏👏
Used to collect sports cards but they got so expansive had to leave the hobby. Currently collecting Funko haha.
He's getting better boys.
The whole card market is gonna collapse, when rookies fresh into the league are more valuable than established stars
There’s an issue
