In 30 or so years of enjoying Cheryl's music, I've never had the opportunity to thank her profusely for all the joy. A million thanks, Cheryl. You are a national treasure, and I love you.
I used to sing this to my husband when crossing the Mojave Desert when we were traveling to see family. After two marriages that ended in divorce, I was privileged to meet and marry him, my Mr. Right. I never forgot to tell him how much he changed my life. I lost him after 17 years together and I miss him every day. But when I hear this song, I go right back to those 4 hour drives together. Simple, but perfect times.
I Love this song, was playing it on my guitar, and decided to come hear the master's voice. Beautiful as always! 👍 I have work to do to on my version now. I'll get that picking pattern eventually though, because to my ears it is magic and beauty. 💖

Thank you Cheryl for writing such a beautiful song my husband and I played it at our wedding. I was in the hospital and I think it soften even some of the toughest on Lookers. My Husband is an amazing man and Artist. He has a very rare gift he does Native American beadwork. We as a gay couple living in Utah noless have found few things more pleasing to are hearts and minds as your beautiful music, Im so glad he introduce me to you. Thank you so very much Troy
Cheryl, I have had your recording since the late 80s. I’ve heard you sing live at least a dozen times always in North Hampton Massachusetts. And while your voice is older I now find myself looking for you singing signs like this during the last few years as age is given you if possible how much for a beautiful way of presenting the songs. You must get tired of hearing it but out of all the artists I have known over my almost 70 yearsYour rank right up there at the top. I have never tired of listening to you in my car or in my home and there may be months where I don’t think of you but then I always find my way back. You are truly a treasure in the United States. Hopefully you’ll be touring again your health permits and pandemic permits and I will be out there and called North Hampton night at the iron horse waiting to see you again along with a group of my friends who I love you just as much. Thank you for so many precious size.
I think she is touring again! I got tickets to see her in Sellersville, PA (sort of near Reading, maybe?) October 1. Pretty sure she will be in New England too!!!

Your humor and passion and down-to-earthness (not a word?) - along with your awesome voice and stunning songwriting - are incredible. Love that the dogs came in during the video.
