Sir, I am surrounded by the teacher's fraternity at shore and am well versed with the teaching methods. I work onboard and find 1 thing as the most is that the method of shame teaching is still a very practiced thing onboard. There are no teaching resources used and an officer is trying to teach a cadet. It is like trying to put a flat pin charger in a round pin socket.
You are right sir kindly post such videos to open the eyes of such seniors officers.
They are showing their useless power keeping junior officer at stressful atall times.
All senior officers kindly watch this video thoroughly & understand it, try to learn how to behave with junior officer.

Even they make the cadet clean toilets harassment throwing shoes my child faced Maersk dont respond to our complaints ultimately sacked

Indians officer they are neither interested in teaching or helping cadets and i have dealt with one c/o who was suffering from depression and anxiety due to which his wife divorced him. He was having relation with influential people on company due which he was able to clear his medicals . 3 months was like hell in that ship .He was very abusive and even cadet in his next ship complaint about him but no action taken

I have 64% in pcm class 12th
I am elgible for dns in some companies like synergy, maersk.. Etc. I am planning to get sponsorship from these companies and complete cadetship and join as 3rd officer.
After that can i change my shipping company to anglo eastern , torm,scorpio..etc whose criteria is 65% or 70% in pcm class 12th.Does dns elgibility criteria also applicable for changing the company during service?
Everytime INDIAN captains and officers only. Always behind work, reducing overtimes. Cut off in all aspects. Willing to working in foreign companies in future with foreign nationality. I am from ANGLO EASTERN.

Agree with you sir on my ship second officer was a hell. He used to harass cadet, third officer and crew. More shocking he was habitual of licking of master and he also doesn't used to say anything to him.

It's a fact that Indian Officers are poor in man management and teamwork, especially senior management level officers. They think a leader is someone who just gives orders and gets them done by or before time to impress suptds.
Officers should go through in-house company training to learn how to teach cadets and ratings. Otherwise the problem will remain.
U guys only talking about officers,what about the crew,u officer always harassing the crew, always disrespect them, don't talk politely, i already faced lots of problem by officers .that's the reason i quit shipping industry.
Yahan first ship pe yeh sb kuch nhi bolte. Capt bolte hai "we won't get a single penny for training you". Thodi si glti ho jati hai to c/o bahut suna deta hai. Ekdum choti choti mistakes k liye. Speaking as a cadet

My son was first time engine cadet was sacked from Maersk false allegations of alcohol consumption cadet does not know where alcohol has come even grievance redressal mechanism failed
