I am going to shift to Vadodara very soon. Because I think Vadodara is a very beautiful place to live. The city is very clean, the people are very Nice, Delicious food, very rich and beautiful culture, the rules are followed very well, and this city is also very safe. Vadodara has everything that a beautiful city should have.
just don't live in mulla areas. my personal advice. my advice would be live in outskirts of the city where traffic is very less, less noise and all facilities are available.

I read about Old Padra Road being one of the finer parts of Vadodara, which is why I chose to include it in the route. Had no idea about the undergoing construction.
That bridge has been under construction over 5 years. It will most likely take another couple of years to complete. In addition, the length of the bridge is way too long. Old Padra road was so wide to begin with, it did not need a bridge. That bridge could have stopped at Chakli circle. Extremely poor planning by VMC and even poorer execution. Waste of tax payer money!

abe lo*de. that tree was there before road was made and city decided to keep the tree and just build road around it. soon they will put a traffic circle there. that's usually the plan.
@@Prain86 it doesn't. I live here and we have tons of places like this since long time. Tress are fine. This perricular road was recently got widened and this tree was actually outside of road. But city decided to keep it when road got widened. They are planning to replanting these trees in future. City has already posted tender to buy equipments for that. They will basically uproot the entire tree and plant it somewhere else.
@@amazingdude9042 Thank you. Now it make sence. It was just strange to leave a tree in the middle of a new line of the road, like there is no use of that line and no point in widening. But if they are going to save the tree and replace it somewhere else - that is great!
That's one area where Vadodara is lacking unfortunately, it can look so much more beautiful just by having proper pedestrian walkways like that University road at 29:25
This is fckup city. Show me 100 mtr stretch without a pothole. Not 1 gutter ka dhakkan on road level. Hardly and footpath. No plants in dividers. This was not my city 10 years back. It was beautiful back then.
