The gel kit repacking guide acts as a helpful tool for teachers in handling and loading all the equipment within our gel kit. An adequate repacking process aids our staff in ensuring kits within our kit loan program remain in good condition for the next classroom.
Reminders
- Tips and tubes should be closed and upright.
- Gel boxes should be stacked only two high!
- Liquids should be upright, bagged, and parafilmed.
- Rinse and dry used gel box trays, gel combs, gel casting dams, gel decks, beakers, and graduated cylinders.
- Place repair tags on broken micropipettes.
