Hi Suzanne! My first thought was auburn, that's what we used to call it too. Ginger is a new term that I've learned from my dolly friends that live in the UK. Oh wow, this bought back so many memories for me. I had a Patty Play Pal when I was five, too! I had her for years, but sadly, I no longer do. I guess my mother got rid of her along with so many of my dolls. We just didn't have the place to keep all of them. My stupid siblings came along and took up all the room. 😄 Just kidding, I love them. 😆😆
Mine had brown brunette hair. I'd say your Patty has ginger hair. Auburn is much darker. I brushed my daughter's and my hair the same way, from the bottom up. That's how I brush my toddlers' hair now. It gets the tangles out without breaking the hair, and is painless. I love that dress you made on her! It's beautiful and she looks beautiful in it. Well done dressing her standing up! I wish I had known you when I lived in WV and that we were both in the hobby then. I would have come to visit you! We would have had so much fun, wouldn't we? I was so surprised when you said that you also had this doll when you were five, what a coincidence, but uh oh, our ages are showing!🤣 Darn siblings anyway to take up space that should've belonged to your dolls!😄 The brunette ones are pretty, I've seen them on Ebay before. Hi, the dress is beautiful, you are so talented, the fabric is gorgeous. I have yet to manage a collar like that i get all dyslexic whenever i try and they just don't sit right ha ha. It is difficult dressing the big dolls but it's worth it isn't it once we recover :)

Open the door to her back then press the meddle button for fer to talk....I took very well of my Patti doll she came in an orange dress 👗 with a white thin Lacey aprun she was a blonde with blue eyes..I love alot she was still in her box never let no one play with her ...I just do get what the hell my mom did to my patti dolll that pissis me off..
