Difference between few and a few (countable):
A few is used to express objective statements.
Example: I have to pass a few exams this semester.
I have a few pencils.
Few implies a negative meaning.
Example: I just have few friends.
I only have few sweets left.
Difference between little and a little (uncountable):
A little is used to express objective statements.
Example: There is a little food left.
There is a little sugar in the tea.
Little implies a negative meaning.
