I’m actually thinking of my girlfriend rn, as we’re doing the long distance thing which I guess works with socially distancing lol. I didn’t realize you could miss someone so much. I talk to her every day, hearing her voice, but without being able to hold her... saying it’s disheartening is an understatement. Also realizing that life is changing for both of us, especially with more during college I have to try my hardest, more then ever. To sum it up, she lost feelings and didn’t communicate to me about it and it ended up me being strung along for a good month after till she ended it. It’s good now tho, I said my peace and got a chance to be honest with her, she understood which set me aback cuz her signals always made me feel she was apathetic. Anyways it worked out better than I thought and we’re on our own paths now, and I feel way clearer. I’m starting college in a couple weeks and it really feels I’m gonna live my own life, and choose who I’m gonna be. Sorry if I sounded like a winy bitch lol but thanks a lot for asking. I hope you don't mind me venting a little. This playlist reminds me of my best friend, who was the first person I fell in love with, and as of now, the only one I've fallen in love with. I only realized my feelings for her when it was too late. She was the first person other than my parents who really, truly cared about me. She was the only person I could really talk to about my feelings or things that had happened to me. Everyone else I had talked to either didn't believe me, didn't care, or simply stopped talking to me altogether. I struggled with toxic friendships and self-esteem issues and when I told her-- unlike them-- she never left. She was always so kind to me, always the one to comfort me when I was unhappy. We drew together, sang together, cosplayed together, talked together, walked together... But the only problem was... she already had a girlfriend. That already was bittersweet but... she's also very physically affectionate. She cuddles and hugs and kisses all of her friends (including me) and I have to constantly remind myself 'she doesn't mean it like that.' She even told me that if she didn't have a girlfriend she would probably crush on me. I ended up pushing her away a bit when she said that because I didn't want to hope. There's someone that I like. And they used to make me feel happy. That was huge for me. Happiness finally had some stability, you know, I could finally rely on someone that made me happy. They were just one text message away and my day would be made. But something happened... I don't know what. I don't feel happy talking to them anymore. I still like them. A lot. Maybe it's because I like them too much now, and I know they'll never like me back in the same way, but they used to "make my heart feel happy" and I just don't know, they don't do that anymore. I don't know if that's ever going to come back. I just want to be happy again. I want to talk to them, but I'm scared.
