@@Daud76 yes... It was the combination of games with own imagination. With no internet around, as a kid, rumors were the gold at the end of the rainbow. Ahhh... Good times! Games are for me from PS2 (with exceptions) to the past consoles.

I loved it too! Sadly the only TH-cam video I found of that version has the TH-camr guy spewing useless commentary like, "there's a little crook dude running across the screen.". Like no shit, we see that too.
Personally, I prefer Where in the USA is Carmen Sandiego on Amiga. At least you can see their faces. And the difficulty is toned down considerably as well.
I think the swedes @ br0derbund should have gotten this released on facebook as a social game... Carmen Sandiego could actually be captured on the 50-51st try on the where in the USA version... anyway... I think the World version is more challenging- as it would really have incorporated some of our FB friends- around the world. new doesn't necessarily mean- improved... I think all rights holders should get their pay if this ever does get released- as a facebook- social game. It's a defunct game now- but just wanted to say that Carmen- was actually someone you could capture after- so many attempts. da-da-da-da-da da-da-da da-da-da!!! da-da-da-da-da da-da-da!!! -J
I congratulate you for beating this game in less than one hour.
Loved this game as a child! Thank you for bringing back so many good memories!
You think you won this one, copper? Us Carmen loyalists will never stop fighting until she is free. This isn't the last of us!
then so be it.
We won't stop until we captured every single one of your Loyalists
I managed to beat this game, felt so empty afterwards
Cool! I've played this game when I was a kid, but never got to find her.
Those were incredibly fast planes.
London to Mexico City in four hours?
Rome to Bangkok in four hours?
Rio de Janeiro to Peking in six hours?

@@Daud76 amazing... These were games
@@DarthPferd Fully agreed! When games were entertaining and not just mindless shooting at everything that moves.

I like the apple 2gs version cause in it you hear the cop mutter MOVE IT! as they lead the crook to jail
