My heart is breaking. I so appreciate Cornel West's vision, passion, INTELLIGENCE. There are things he's not saying, some bias? Hurt feelings? I was all for him from the get go, and even after Jill started to run. But then he took a turn, soured?😢. I wish, naively? Cornel with his power and "followers"would unite with Jill and, yes, the green party with all its flaws(!)
Please, Dr West, please reconsider. ❤
Thank you Jordon, for addressing the hard stuff with these two awesome leaders. I envision a day soon that they will come together to collaborate to replace the corrupt system!

💯 I think what we need to address is Cornell 's sense of "out group" and rejection. It's something internal, confidence which needs to be restored. It's important to acknowledge his concerns. I don't doubt that there are microaggressions, I think he should be more open about what he experienced and how he felt. Maybe not in public, but to somebody, before he does an interview like this. This was not a good look for him, I honestly feel very sorry for him.

Her main platform should be (imo) crazy high taxes ending for all of us and LIVING WAGES. We need a better Congress ofc...and I think if we did West would do a better job with the working class folks. I see him being president and maybe someone like her as VP. I walked away from my volunteer role in the Cornel West campaign when, in the span of less than 5 months: he jumped into bed with two different parties without doing any due diligence beforehand only to ghost them with little more than the equivalent of a text after these parties had gone into full gear on his behalf to get him ballot access; he hired Peter Daou as his campaign manager then refused to address our concerns about it; he bungled the Jimmy Dore interview irreparably damaging any chance of attracting the white working class voters he claimed he wanted to reach and disregarding peoples' valid concerns about the pandemic response; THEN after ditching the Green party he went on Tim Black and disparaged everyone questioning his lack of a campaign strategy as "morally and spiritually impoverished." He refused to answer questions by email or on Zoom calls speaking to these concerns, only to tell us third-hand on Tim Black's channel (multiple times) what he really thinks of us. Nope. I wasted years of my life on Bernie Sanders for nothing. I wasn't about to do it again for Cornel West.

Very telling that Cornel ignores Jill's suggestion for a conference to try and unite and instead jumps into stupid personal drama, lying about what she said. He didn't ignore that. He said he is all for that sort of thing, but to suggest that he is running out of personal ambition is an affront to his character and purpose. She claims it is more strategic for them to unify under a single ticket. Clearly that benefits her, and Cornel at this moment would rather make his own example. @diracspinors Her continuing supports a viable long term 3rd party. If she gets 5% of the votes the Candidate running in 2028 will have automatic Ballot access in EVERY STATE and $20 million in Federal non-corrupt funding. If West gets 5% its does nothing for the future, in 2028 Democrats and Republicans will have their intact Monopoly. States are reluctant to give West Ballot access because the petition gathering is done by RNC backed PACs at ACTUAL Trump Rallies telling g Trump Voters that West will pull votes from the DNC and Jill Stein. So his signatures are from people intentionally trying to stop free and fair elections. It's sad that people still stand behind him.
He was made fully aware Jill was working on his campaign BECAUSE he was part of a movement toward a viable 4rd party but then he left almost sabotaging the Green Party Ballot lines. His stance on that is just ridiculous. He's running for him and him only not for the future and what's best for the Majority, this is obvious because he has no interest in looking at it objectively. Jill asked him earlier on to join her campaign and he refuses to work with a party. This shows he doesn't want to work with others and that's not what this country NEEDS!

It’s grossly disingenuous for West to describe Stein with words like “arrogance” and “condescension” and “hautiness” and “wreaking of racist sensibility that I could go into”-obviously all his interpretations of Stein’s behavior-and then refuse to “go into” the specific behavior that resulted in those damning judgments. All in response to the two words “personal ambition.” This says far more about him than it does about her. Jordan certainly knows the difference between facts and interpretations but didn’t press him very hard to divulge the “facts” on which he based those accusations.

My take is that she could have chosen a different term other than personal ambitions and may well apologize for using such a term. But maybe that's what a civil conference could determine amongst themselves ... These things are for voters to decide. Candidates need to focus on their campaign and ability to deliver. They need to be able to communicate a clear strategic platform. This should include not just campaign promises and interests, but the administration of the country on the whole we are sorely missing. They need to engage voters to refine their platform and earn their vote through proven capability, as evaluated by the voters. Most importantly they need to be able to follow through on both. They need to follow through. Otherwise campaigning will continue to be a money grab. Defund Campaigns and Politicians. I used to like Cornell West ... until he has been running this campaign. After seeing him on various interviews, and now his unhinged response to Jill Stein's comments, I am disgusted with him. She specifically stated, "I would never ask for anyone to drop out," and was talking about UNITY of the progressive candidates. She is extremely inclusive and considerate to all races, genders, social classes, etc. I have voted Green Party every election since 1996, so I voted for Jill in both of her former campaigns. Cornell West seems to be too focused on anti-racism, minimizing the other issues. He's also just really hard to listen to. And he exposed his contradictions on a Jimmy Dore appearance. I hate to say it, but ... he really should drop out and endorse Jill Stein.
