Thanks for hte in depth view of this movement, I never thought of stringing together the knee with it, that seems very nice and unpredictable when combined with the normal punch counter, it seems to have the ability to keep people guessing, I also liked how you practiced circling as well while using the Hand Fold.

I spar this giant southpaw at my gym and he fucks me up constantly with this technique, especially pushing it down and jabbing me in my exposed face. I’ve started sticking my lead hand to my forehead when sparring him bow because of this haha

Love your videos Sylvie :), it would be amazing to meet you one day, I am hoping to go to Thailand next year for a holiday and I thought I couldn't pass up a chance to train Muay Thai whilst there. Do you run any classes anywhere? do any of the great fighters you have trained under do classes? it would be a real honor to do some classes with yourself and also them. I am a beginner and just do martial arts for the self defense side of it rather than trying to be a fighter but I just thought the experience would be amazing.

Hi Paul. I don't teach at all, I'm a full time fighter and am training all the time at the gym in Pattaya, Petchrungruang. You of course can come and train too, the gym is open to all. Of those I've filmed with legends Sagat and Chatchai both give private lessons in Bangkok.

Great, thanks very much Sylvie, It would still be awesome to meet you all the same and watch one of your fights live so I will try and get down to Pattaya next year and it would be awesome to do some classes with those legends. As I said I am only a beginner but it would still be a thrill.

    Thanks for the video sylvie,
I have a question, are you a right hand dominant southpaw? Where you not ortodox in the beginning of your muay thai journey?😉 if yes why have you changed it ?

I'm naturally Orthodox but have been fighting almost exclusively Southpaw for about a year. Karuhat made the switch, to correct an overturning habit in clinch and putting my strong side in the front.
