The late Ronald Read was a janitor and gas station attendant. He used DRIP investing and stayed in the Stock Market for 22-23 years. Mr. Earl and the late Ronald Read are a perfect example of King Solomon's Proverb: "Wealth is built over time."
Must be humble and willing to listen and take advice. I introduced to Mr. Earl to a group of men from New Season Worship Center, Lauderhill, Florida, but they really were interested in following the strategy, or doing anything worthwhile.. I do not waste my time with "stupid people" who have too much foolish pride to learn from a humble man like Mr. Earl.
Mr. Earl is a Prime example of starting small and build up from there. Warren Buffet said best The market has device that transfer money from the impatient to the patient. Mr. Earl had patience to learn how money works and ask people who know about investing. People talk about Ronald Reads but he didn't have a learning disability like Mr. Earl had, you can't compare apples and oranges in spite they both fruit. Mr. Earl shared his knowledge of what he learned from people he talked to with his family, friends, and strangers. Its shows that you don't have to have a lot of money to start investing.
@@mike.p.1400 i know a lot of God fearing people who are broke cause they don't have the grit or patience and dont understand the concept of "delayed gratification ".
Most of his wealth came from dividends reinvestment plans, with offer by thousands of companies that pay cash dividends regularly. Many also have direct purchase plan, which allow you to buy shares, directly from them. All dividends reinvestment plans promote life long ownership, many shareholders have their shares for life, then living off its dividends when they are retired. Many also choose to pass many of their shares to their children and grandchildren, even beyond their life time.
Ronald Read had an $8 million portfolio and he was a janitor at JcPenny's.
And this was a couple of years ago too! This man probably doubled his money. He is incredible.
Incredible. And what's even more amazing is the fact that if Mr. Earl was able to do it, we're ALL capable of doing it. Invest!
Absolutely right!
