I am surprised at the lack of positive responses. Rebecca's presentation is an earnest, honest call to sincerely engage with our neighbour, no matter what culture, tribe or ideology they may 'currently' possess; totally biblical.
She shows that biblical orthodoxy doesn't write anyone off. It challenges us and our neighbours without compromise and also without condemnation - literally the gospel.
@Rebecca McLaughlin thank you. God bless madam.

In the end, God is less concerned with us keeping rules and laws and more concerned that our hearts are for Him, and how we treat each other. I heard her say marriage is between a man and woman, I did not hear an endorsement for abortion, but a challenge to the church, you want to protect the unborn, how will you treat the single mother? This was a very good talk on what the heart of Christianity is supposed to be, caring for one another in the Spirit of Christ. Get off the Harry Potter, woke, culture crud, just an analogy, listen to the message, read the Gospels. God bless!

Can I suggest if people want to be critical they actually critique what Rebecca says and explain why, according to the Word of God, they may disagree? Otherwise it just sounds like they are against her as a person without actually considering the points she is making.

The ultimate expression is the commitment by keeping my hand to the plow even when there is no sex and the kind of sacrifice that mimics, as much as possible in this tainted mortal body, Christ’s love.

It's strange. I have difficulty relating to this talk. I'm of ethnic Asian descent. I've lived in UK and Germany. I don't think, in fact, I know I've not experienced racism in any of the churches I've been member of or visited in over 40 years. I've experienced racism in a secular setting, but more in the 60s and 70s. I don't remember any of these churches mistreating women either, though they were all evangelical and complementarian. All the women were highly valued and regarded.
Do all/vast majority of US evangelicalism have the problems you allude to? Or do you need to be more specific in who you're targeting?

I have a problem with the underlying perspective. Harry had one dad no mistaking him. Sure he was complicated and a Christian is as well, but.....what if many who claim to be just are not? You can call a rose any other name and it will still be a rose. You can also call skunk weed a rose that won't make it smell better.
Before you drill down on any actual Christian don't you first have to know they are one? I get that we feel we are not to judge. We cant know the heart that’s true ….but…. what if what we are looking for is not about the heart? Is the prosperity gospel true? Not a chance it's a complete a perversion of Scripture. How about Mormons; they say we have two books, we must have it right but they deny the authority of Scripture and have a decidedly different view of Yashua? So again, that's a no. If we can say anyone is not a Christian then there must be a way to narrow the field that isn’t looking at the heart?
Yes those who make the claim do so with genuine assurance, they truly believe they are saved.
Scripture says Then they will say to Me Lord didn't we drive out demons in your name and in your name do many great works?
They believe no argument so much so that they will complain to the Lord who they say they serve but who He says were not known.
I don't bring this up to point out only that as Christians we are getting the short end of the stick; Often judged for things done by the seculars wearing a Christian mask, but also to warn some that live as though they are saved when in truth they are not.
If there is one question, we need to finally answer at this point in history its what it is to be a Christian. How a person bore worldly born Adamic a child of wrath becomes a child of Grace…I don’t mean they think they are or hope they are or say they are but when it matters find themselves seated at the banquet?
If the church was overloaded with genuine Christians, I think the answer would already be out there?
However, what is called church is not its religion, its primary focus is on improving the Adamic Person very like Buddhism. It very clearly has a form of Godliness but denies the power there in.
No not all …. But most?

His love is manifest in speaking Truth which is His Word in the scriptures. He spoke only truth to sinners and were many offended? Yes, the Bible tells us that He was an offense to those who were perishing. Jesus also saved! We are to speak truth in Love if we truly are His disciples. We preach repentance. We are friends to people living in sin ONLY if we speak biblical truth to them so they might repent and be saved! May God bless His Word.

He keeps going in Romans to reveal that the work of the cross was to set sinners free from sin and death AND change their identity from slave of sin (the bible's definition of sinner) to slave of righteousness (child of God, saint). Now that is some good news worth talking about. Just wanted to encourage you that if you place your trust in Jesus, you should no longer call yourself a sinner. You have the heart of Christ in you and are forever in him, seated in the heavenlies next to him. PTL

@Laura Rimmer - Keto Alkaline Nutritionist
Hey, Laura. I’m really curious to know whether you read any classical (or even popular) literature whatever. I’m not aware of any Evangelical novelists being included in the canon of great literature. (Not that I wouldn’t like for there to be.) So, we could easily ditch Shakespeare and Dickens and Dostoyevsky and Austen and O’Connor based on “spiritual discernment.” But we’d be incredibly impoverished culturally thereby. Yes, it can be quite difficult to “chew the meat and spit out the bones.” But it can be quite rewarding, as well.
I don’t particularly care for Rowling as a person. She’s an Anglican, as far as I know, and rather progressive. In spite of this, the Harry Potter series is miraculously redemptive. If you’ve actually read them and cannot see that, then I would seriously question your ability to “spiritually discern.”

This woman has not advocated any values that are not in biblical alignment but because she’s calling Christians to account for our methods, approaches that may not be in line with the Word, she’s woke? What verse mentions the words "coeternal" "coessential" or "coequal?" Where is hypostatic union, eternal generation or one substance? God is not a trinity.God never tells us he is a trinity. The Hebrew words for God: Adonai, Yahweh, Elohim never mean a trinity. God is: "the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." A Father is an individual, not a trinity. The words: I, me, he, him, single personal pronouns are used of God about 20k times in the Bible. Jesus told us the greatest commandment is: "Hear Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord."
