      I literally laughed out loud when he put the keyboard on the screen. It just seems well thought out. And then when he showed that it can be closed with the keyboard still attached. Well thats a winner right there. There's a really fine line between a device seeming like absolute garbage and well refined ... and this device seems to have it figured out.

    I feel like this is the only device that I've seen that makes folding feel like an actual feature and not a gimmick. like they take all the drawbacks of folding and have solutions to them. I really enjoy how the keyboard just slots right in.

    • @vahidashaikh8265
      @vahidashaikh8265 3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      The z fold 2 isn't a gimmick man. It is a mini tablet that fits into your pocket. It's got some useful camera features to take advantage of the folding screen. You should blame Google for not optimizing Android for foldable even though two manufacturers are making it. I swear 5 years later foldable will be a really good buy because they will get cheaper and google and developers may optimize software for foldable to take advantage of all that screen real estate

    • @Demeetrius
      @Demeetrius 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@DAATChannel smaller is better. If I can fit a full size laptop that folds into half it's size I'll be able have more space for let's say accessories or peripherals like a hard drive or camera gear, etc. If I need a tablet with a large screen for when I'm mobile on the floor at work this would be cool because I can fold it and tuck it inside my inner jacket pocket. Plenty of instances where it'll be useful, it's about perspective and who would need something like this.

    This video really reminded me of when I bought my Macbook with a touch bar and the Apple representative was explaining that the touch bar while it is a small thing now is a preview of things Apple might have planned like the whole keyboard basically being a touch screen. I was like "isn't that just two Ipads on hinges then?" I also think it's super reminiscent of DS devices but now the screen part is just getting bigger and overtaking the buttons, as is what's generally happening to all forms of technology. The problem is that the idea that I'm pressing a button without actually having the sensory experience of pushing a button really doesn't work well with my brain, to the point where I HATE the MacBook keyboard and similar keyboards with very small buttons. I still think this tech is super cool, but I'd probably have to dish out extra money just to take around a keyboard that doesn't mess with my head along with it.

Even if its like 6000 that would be sick to see. I think at 13 inches it doesn't really work cus when using it as a laptop its a bit too small with that 9 inch screen and tiny keyboard.
    Foldable screens could allow for true desktop replacements. Imagine carrying a 24 inch beast of machine around with you.
