@weFishAU Success is working your pots. After the last drop, I return to check the first one and so on checking each one, rebating as required. Blue swimmer crabs swim with the tide. Choosing your location is important to allow the tide to bring the crab to your pots. Cheers

Day or night for two and half hours from three hours to one half hour before high tide, the sandies are on. As soon as the tide slackens their gone.

I used to do that up until they banned the witches hat pots. Now that I only have four pots to check I prefer to leave them and go do some fishing.
