But what they do is actually criminal. It’s stealing.
Any type of insurance is a legal binding contract.
When they deny a claim sent in for payment that is a covered procedure on a policy that is in good standing and not beyond its limits , that’s fraud. That’s stealing ! That’s not providing the product people have paid for.
Insurance companies are usually regulated by their state department of insurance.
They are supposed to be held to certain acts like a quick processing of claims and settlement /payment. Amongst other things.
They have actually been caught Using AI for quite while now to deny claims. .
And much more! So if they are supposed to be regulated by the federal government. Who’s helping them be corrupt ?

I am a physician and overall agree with much of what you say. However since you have a platform at the moment, please let the public know why we don’t speak up. Many of us will face very real retaliation from our places of employment. Since you are your own boss, you can do this and it is appreciated. However the public needs to understand how we are silenced.

I just watched your older video and posted a comment there. Being a physician as well, YES, they’re dreadful! Leaving the urgent care that was headed by UHC and Optum, and taking a major salary cut now that I work for the state (while this job, just as any other, has its own issues) has brought me much more peace. I don’t know how much of of the shady dealings (in my opinion) were from the urgent care company itself or were coming from UHC directly, but they were basically evil bedfellows (again, in my opinion). My wanting to care for and about people felt like the antithesis of what their underlying mission was.

So it’s very obvious that they are doing exactly what they are being excused of and very intentionally and consciously!
I worked in the insurance business for 31 years. Not in health but Commercial Fire and Auto Claims.
All sectors use the same tactics. I would have never believed it until they did it to me and it was on xtra coverage that I bought in case I got hit by a person who didn’t have enough coverage and me, my husband or son were severely hurt.
Well needless to say they tried to say it wasn’t covered and it most definitely was. I wnwded up constructively resigning after being stone walked and harassed with all mgmt from the tippy top to my supervisor all in on it.
They didn’t know I knew what they were doing .
By the way this is the biggest insurer at that time and for decades in this country for home and auto.
They drug it through the courts for 6 years. A multi billion dollar company for 100,000 dollars.
The more I researched after they started their crap if denying my claim the more I became aware just how corrupt they were and I never knew before it happened to me as I did y work the actual claims I worked in the auto estimatics dept.
they all use the three D’s ! If your claim is over a certain amount like $50,000 it goes to mgr. if they can find a loop home to weasel out if not paying the full amount they will. If it’s to cut and dry and they can’t win in court or wear you out taking you to court they won’t. But it happens all the time with auto and homeowners. Just think it was the litigation reps in the auto dept that told me you need to open up an underinsured claim if you have it because my husbands injuries were so bad. Some how landed 30 ft under a bridge in a culvert. The other drivers insurance too full responsibility for the accident but own insurance didn’t think so! Figure that one out.
So watch closely and be careful because it’s not just health insurance even though I have to say UHC is the king of evil!
