Kristin, how's are things going now August 2020? Would love an update. My mother was born in old Bansko and now that I'm retired would love to live there part time. Have been there many times and love it! Still have family there but your thoughts would be great! Nice apartment by the way.

@@TravelingwithKristin you must be a skier Kristin. I like it there in spring and summer and fall. I'm older now and winter's are not for me anymore. Stayed in Old Bansko during the winter 20 years ago and it was rough! But anyway, thanks for the offer for help but I am able to stay in a relatives apartment when I'm there. Keep having fun and keep healthy!
Beautiful apartment! Looks really nice and wonderful views. I think summer would be better (says a frozen Canadian.) I think you mentioned that Bansko is near the top of your nomad destinations. Do you have a top 5 for budget destinations? Top 5 all around any price range? What's the quirkiest place you have encountered? Any places that have totally blown you away (exceeded expectations?) Very cheap. I can’t find similar apt in my hometown Almaty, KAZ. I should visit it especially Russian and Turkish my native languages. Я скорее всего буду себя чувствовать как дома 🏡.
Traveling with Kristin I’m from small coastal town on Caspian Sea. I actually enjoy very dynamic and vibrant places. I’ve lived In Manhattan, SF, LA, Bangkok, KL and Saigon. But in all of these places I’ve lived in suburbs max 40 minutes commute 🙂 I find it best spot especially for writing ✍️ and creative stuff.
That is a very nice apartment! The balcony is definitely my favorite feature of it!
