Cheers for the Video clip! Excuse me for the intrusion, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you ever tried - Proutklarton Vanish Electricbills Plan (probably on Google)? It is a great one off guide for cutting your electric bill substantially minus the normal expense. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my friend Sam got astronomical success with it.
This is about the best ever video I've seen to be thorough idiot approved and to the point thank you very much the rest of the videos theres crap they never get to the point not thoroughly and they go rambling all over the place I really appreciate this thank you sir great job..
I noticed a couple small things at 4:44, you should have put 23 cents instead of 0.23 cents, and 6 cents instead of 0.06 cents. The video is good otherwise.
23 cents divided by 4 is 5.75 cents or 0.0575 $ (you kept saying dollars instead of cents a few times during the video). Otherwise nice example. Thumbs up!
Nice explanation sir. But, can I ask you a favor? Can you make a video about the difference between KWh and KW/h. It's annoying to hear some people say "KW/h" and even support it with self generated opinions. For non electrical people this may sound unfamiliar, but it will educate those who knows little about this and the importance of correct unit. Thank you sir in advance
Nice job. How to figure out two welding machine that dose the same job , the same time, the same metal thickness, and everything the same. I want to know which one will use more electricity then the other one?
If I have a 18.4 kWh battery and it takes 4 hrs to a charge with level 2 charger at 0.21516/kWh, it comes out to $19.79. Its seems high. Is this right?
Hi can you calculate a business that uses two 3kw fires for an average of 20hours each per week, and six 150w lights for 30 hours each per week. If the cost of electricity is 14.25p per unit, determine the weekly cost of electricity to the business.
Another great video! Thank you for this! I'm really not trying to be picky, but 0.23 cents is not equal to 23 cents. I know it doesn't seem like such an egregious error, but it is after all two orders of magnitude in difference. Maybe express as $ 0.23 or as 23c? Subbed a few videos back btw!!! I love your videos!
Many thanks, I've been looking for "how many watts does a 55 inch led tv use?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Piyaleb Spectacular Primacy - (do a google search ) ? It is a great one of a kind product for discovering how to generate your own electricity without the headache. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my work buddy got excellent results with it.
your money conversion makes no sense. if 23 cents is 23 then .06 cents wouldnt be 6 cents it would be 6 one hundredths of a cent. plz use fractions of a dollar next time so its much easier to understand
Thank you for this clear explanation, my textbook's explanation bamboozled me. Now I finally understand.
Great that you found it helpful.

Thank you so much! I was so confused in class about solving word problems with kilowatts. This made it so much clearier.

To you too!
A very good explanation except for the cents vs dollars confusion.
Thanks for the comment
Nice job.

Thank you for your patience
My pleasure, thanks for watching
Wonderful am learning,Sir how do i know if the question am given has to be calculated in kilojoules or kwh
power is generally converted in kwh

Math is correct but his conclusion is wrong. This is not $0.06. This is less than one penny.
18.4 kW battery for 4 hours at 0.215 should come to somewhere around $15.82.
Sorry, I know this is old but love a good Maths problem
made it so simple
Everything step by step! Thanks for the comment.
Thx
Welcome
I meant 5 hours to a full charge.
so thanks
Great, you are very welcome, thanks for watching and commenting.

why I think the result gives us 5.75 cents and not 0.0575?am I wrong sir?
Because it's cents you do x 0.23 instead of x 23, then you will get the correct answer
.05 is 5 cents or .05 x 1$
How much would 148 w running for 24 hours cost?
The cost was 0.23 cent/kw.h not "23" cent in step 3 ,so we need to correct the number in step 3
Yes, that is the case.
Another great video! Thank you for this! I'm really not trying to be picky, but 0.23 cents is not equal to 23 cents. Yes, you are right.
Typo in the presentation. Answer does reflect .23 x .25. thanks we should do a video on cost of electricity for charging an EV or PHEV vehicles.
Thank you
You are welcome
on timeline 1:24 if you are mentioning as 23 cents then the display shows 0.23 cents. I think it must be 0.23 dollars.
The correct amount is 23 cents, I should not have included the decimal point.
1.5 kw divided by 6 ( 10 minutes is 1/6 of an hour = .25 kwh x .23 cents per kwh = .0575 cents -- much easier !!
I think I did the same thing only that did each step one at a time....Step by Step Science!
The cost which is 0.33/kw.h is fixed for all countary. Like ethiopia
What if they did not give you the power rating❓
I don't understand the cost of electricity usage
Watch the video.

@@stepbystepscience nooooo shit will repel bro
can u just show the formula
please
It is in the video.
What part is it at?
Electrical energy = power × time
It would help if the title described the cost of energy, NOT power!!
uuuhh whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa????
Error: You said 23 cents/kWh, but you wrote 0.23 cents/kWh.
Thanks
isnt
.25*23=5.75?!
ilysm
0.06 cents. not 6 cents.
But it is 50 cent not 0.50 cents....
welp
????
You just confused me
about what???
Many thanks, I've been looking for "how many watts does a 55 inch led tv use?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Piyaleb Spectacular Primacy - (do a google search ) ? or what i should say is use dollars as ur currency or just keep the decimal accurate by making 23 cents .23 as well
Energy cost nothing
Really, I just got a notice from my electricity provider that the cost per kWh was going up 80%.
That's a lie. When I was in school 11cents per kilowatt hour. 10 minute at 15 amp. .66 cents.
Thank you
