I don´t know if these two thoughts of mine could be regarded as topics but I have two. Most (or every) travelvlogger operate around the globe but my idea is restricted to my homecounty (I live in the southernmost part of Sweden and the county is smaller than the state of Connecticut). Do you think there is a difference between working around the globe and the area outside of your homecity? The second thought is age. I believe most vloggers/youtubers are in their twenties and the abscense of children allows them to go wherever they want. I am 52. Do you think that different ages presents different ways of thinking when it comes to creating films for a youtube-channel?

Gosh! Let me star by thanking you for what your doing! Much appreciated so much more than you know! Your living one of my many looong pursuits in life what some call "dreams" to travel around, wow how incredible it must be! Your actually out living like everyone on the planet SHOULD be doing! What I yearn for daily to be doing, I can't wait! One day hopefully soon.....in some magical way! Just Another thing I've always know I love since i was extremely young, 5 and under.
I Must let you know, I never comment on TH-cam but You are SO amazing at what you do! I have watched hundreds of different people for years and YOU are by far in the top 2 best for what you do and how you do it and convey your messages on here! You give very helpful, amazing, honest* information that is actually useable! You speak in a normal/comfortable manner and not too fast. Your very chill how people are supposed to be and your filming and video skills are great. I can only keep praying, manifesting and visualizing meeting someone as great at this as yourself. So Thank you again! I appreciate that You speak a lot like myself when telling viewers to be true to who they really are always and not to care! I love hearing more people say this! Great job at truth and telling it like it is! The world truly needs to hear more of this from people like ourselves and sadly there's so many people out there that don't realize this is okay to do or be and it's heartbreaking. I love that your always out and about it makes the same old thing you might discuss then FAR more unique, more interesting and more powerful over any others I've watched. plus, mother nature is the most gorgeous thing we all have at our fingertips to admire and enjoy therefore more people should be out in it doing exactly that instead of inside on their screens! I personally have no idea why anyone wouldn't like your video style besides envy cuz they know your videos are great in that case they should take your advice and loose the hate and negative emotions. But even more so it makes zero since that any other human being can seriously have the nerve to say negative comments to you about choosing to video this way, 'your unique way' it's YOUR channel and THEY chose to go to your channel and watch YOU yet complain as if you made them do it?! Haha silly people out there. ANYWAYS~ I have been very curious if you have ever thought of doing one of these geared more towards musician's. In my current case (hopefully not long) independent musicians but honestly any kind it doesn't matter. Without a mic setup on something like music videos is not really possible on it looking or sounding professional with just a phone. Or without good video editing skills/program it makes for years worth of searching on how too's especially if someones only option is videoing alone and broke with no help. Hard to throw in different angles and zooming in and out and all that much needed stuff to capture anything worth while and cant get no one to help. I have a few videos I need to make for my current Demo and would love to get them out on youtube to be herd. I'm always asked if it's on here yet but obviously I would just dub my tracks over whatever video footage I'm able to somehow get by myself but....what about when there is background noise and Im preforming at a gig or gatherings and there's chatter? What if i wanna use that footage? I'm SO incredibly lost and completely alone on all this. On top of all the things that go on with the distribution, social media, layouts, laws, settings, licensing, graphics, ahhh It takes away from my purpose! But The building of subscribers here is very important to me and is not possible in my case without good sound/videos! I am only one person with a huge purpose and too many things fogging my brain up and no help (also something I've never been good at asking for, help. I've always been knowledgeable and very independent. So i finally try asking in life but nothing anywhere i go). The look of pages, the setting up of this pages for managers in order to receive some help if i ever get given a chance and get so blessed, the switch over to branded account and not loosing my name. It's ALL TO much for one person to posses and very overwhelming. This internet stuff is not where my time should be spent but in this day and age there's not much choice and it ain't easy cuz I am old school. I'd much rather be out meeting new people, healing, helping, around people that are enjoying their life as best they can and to just be entertaining as I was born to be doing...not to be staring at this dang screen getting no where in any aspect now cuz im confused and overwhelmed and stumped for hours and days and years of research and reading amd apps. All these things that usually would ne assigned to many people is simply, only keeps me from what I am supposed to be doing most in this life but I'm all alone on it. I will never give up with my purpose or stop listening to what my soul has screamed at me since my first breath of air on this planet! It's everywhere in my veins and just continues to get stronger. I just keep craving and craving hourly, daily, everything i hear and everything I see, no matter who is around me, no matter what I am doing, i just need to make music, sing and do videos! I gotta get it out. So many amazing video ideas! Its so frustrating, feels like a prison in my head all my life!
Please help if you can no matter how small or what's it's about! ANY TIPS would be greatly appreciated!!
      Light and Love to all
& Always be kind to one another.
      🕉️JeanaMarie

It was a pleasure to watch you guys. A lot of helpful tips, even several about vlogging in public... eh, I mean in general 😉, that I can use. One thing was briefly mentioned, I guess, but is the thing I was most curious about : front or rear camera, which is the best to shoot with?

    • @DeeNimmin
      @DeeNimmin 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

De Strip Vlogger The rear lens is the best quality lens but a lot of newer phones have a good front lens too (selfie side). A wide angle lens can help with this and guarantee you’re in the shot if you’re using the rear lens, or if your device has a wide camera built in.
The last video Jeven and I did together was shot (my side) with the front lens on an iPhone XS. This new video was shot on the rear lens. If you’re watching on a mobile device you probably won’t be able to tell them apart.

@@DeeNimmin Thanks! I have a Huawei P20 lite, so a fairly recent phone. I should go out this weekend and try both camera's out. The challenge will be therear camera, as I won't be able to see the shots until I am finished...then again, too often I am editing video's and get annoyed with myself for not looking in the lens ;-)

Best 2 apps and won't ever ask you to pay for anything but still includes camera transitions, zoom in, zoom out, green screen, layers, video volume increase and decrease, text and text effects enough for a cool edit are:
    1. CapCut (best)
    2. VN (4k export)
    3. Vita

I appreciate all of your help videos - they are full of information and great to watch! But, I am really stuck on the editing platforms to use. I have been taking video with my cell phone, but I can't find an editing sw that will let me do cuts, splices, voice-over, etc. Oh - and music. I tried using TH-cam which allows you to add music after the fact, but you cannot fade in or out and it just looks really choppy. I know what I want to create - I need to learn what to use. FYI, I am on a strict budget so I am not looking for expensive platforms - much as I would like to invest someday.

Thanks for the tips! I’m promised my viewers a vlog every day for the month of January so I’m getting a lot more comfortable with it. I’d love to get better with editing, adding music, broll, etc. I feel kinda boring but most of my subscribers are over the age of 65 so maybe they prefer the simplicity. The biggest complaint I get is audio. I ride horses in my vlog and the viewers can hear me if I talk from a distance. I’ve resorted to doing voiceovers, which is kind of a time sucker. I’m definitely interested in a light that can be used on my phone when I’m in poorly lit areas, and a very simple microphone that picks up my voice, but not all the background noise. I use iMovie for all of my editing and I’m only able to upload a 15 minute video. Do you know if I can upload longer videos if I use a different editor? Or is that an iPhone thing. Thanks for your time

at the time i'm writing this comment i'd like to think i've learned a lot of stuff the hard way, i started out having this obsession that i HAD to film at 1080p60 so everything looked smooth on my camera especially slow motion but was putting my computer through absolute torture editing it, after changing to my samsung a51 phone i realised not only do i have way more flexibility but one less thing to carry and the ability to use a smartphone gimal and other similar tools, since then my workflow has gone through the roof thanks to onboard file management and footage even at just normal 108p30fps looking absolutely amazing

2:06 I just found this video on my search. I think you're right. Can I say it's like... Taking video or voice calls in public? I mean just like you're not scared to take calls or vidcalls in public, therefore we don't have to be scared to make vlog on public, except for security reason?

Great video guys! I'd really like to ask you more about the copyright issues. For music - I can totally understand the potential issues. However, what about, say, buying toys for my kids, opening them at home and posting it on YT? Or if I mention a kid's book (that my kids love) , showing it (such as the front cover, and a few pages within) and recommending it on YT? Or going to Disneyland and the video shows their products in their shops?

Thank you for the info! I’m just an ol’ gal that wants to create a private channel for our kiddos, grands and family. The hubby and I are going to do a lot of traveling next year and I don’t want to bore my fb friends with the pics and live videos so I thought I’d try my hand at this! Just happy to know I can begin with my IPhone...now to learn editing and posting! 😬🤞🏻
