and i have to point two things, kelly wasn’t struggling on the vampire one, those notes were fully supported, same with happier than ever Eb5 (she had 2 hours of sleep that day btw)
Sometimes Kelly's tone is different in some clips so it seems like she is struggling or it's harder to hit the not in those specific clips! Because in others she does the same note perfectly so i don't know! About the new video, im subscribed to you bestie so ill be on the look out!😝
So glad you checked out this video! I was hoping you’d see it. When it comes to Billie btw she does that happier than ever note in weird poses a lot,and they tend to sound different each time so I wouldn’t be shocked if it’s live honestly. I think what’s most likely is she hit it live but there’s a loud backtrack with it which makes it sound fuller and more powerful than it is. Her voice is more powerful than people think but probably not enough to sound that strong in that position. That’s just my thoughts though :3

Olivia sounds like she is struggling with her own song, imo and Kelly sound like she’s hitting it fine. I think she took a breath in a weird place and maybe that’s what you picked up on. Sometimes she takes breaths in weird places. Lol. She definitely wasn’t struggling to hit that note though. As I’ve said before, Kelly uses different vocal effects at different times as well and not every note is supposed to be crystal clear. A lot of the time that “strain”, cry, grit, etc is on purpose to portray emotion. I like your reactions though. 😊 I agree about Adele not being that great vocally, live especially, and I’m an Adele fan & I can admit that. I like her songs more than I like her voice.
