Ryanair’s max8-200 actually has 197 seats and not 200, so even though this was designed for airlines like Ryanair for more capacity, they only hold 197
Ryanair FA here. Hi there! You're absolutely right. Considering the high volume of usage they undergo each day, it's possible that the airstairs in the video were not extended because they were undergoing maintenance or repairs. Broken steps, faulty motors, or other mechanical issues can sometimes occur, and aircraft operators prioritize safety and reliability. To ensure the safety of passengers and crew, it's important to make sure that all safety measures are in place and that all equipment, including airstairs, are in proper working condition before they are used. Thanks for bringing up this point, and remember, safety always comes first in aviation!

But why?
If capacity is 200+ then it needs an extra crew member, so 197 means that it is just 4 crew like on the 800 to keep down costs.
I was on this plane once!
8:38 SkyUp😢😢
A hard ryanair Landing as usual...
Given the issues reported - do we think that it's save on this type of plane?
Ryanair flies 700 daily flights with 737 MAX 8s and has never had an issue. Flying Ryanair is perfectly safe.
