oh my god i can’t believe you read my comment! thank you!! what a rush to hear elma say my name 😂 and fwiw i’d love to hear about premier women’s rugby in south africa
Neat to see Elma and Scaz in the different environment and Kate was a super, down-to-earth guest. It was really interesting getting some commentary on where the US team feels they are and the benefit of WXV1 games. I also got the giggles when the chat swung back to the forwards gym and What It Can Do For You. With much love I also point out you can be a genetic freak in terms of lack of ability to catch a ball or kick a ball or such too; I am definitely in that team of freaks (but I can read a book like wowww). 🤣
The comment about visibility and sponsorship is important. I understand that Canterbury have announced that they are providing multiple pairs of boots to every player in the PWR. In the scheme of things, that's not a huge amount of money involved, but that's a very visible expenditure of money. In every country where they advertise their boots they are going to be looking to use PWR players in those ads. That then attracts other interested parties and the interest snowballs. Sponsors are going to be looking at running ad campaigns around the World Cups and will want to be associated with sold out stadiums and playing success. That's got to be good for the game.
Hang in there SCAZ I'm with you on the Great Sandwich Wars of 2024! Or should that be Hang in there SCAZ I'm with you IN the Great Sandwich Wars of 2024!

Elma with her big coat, and Scaz with her skinny eyebrows. Looking like it’s going to be another great podcast.
