- Our next stage along the Biscayan coastline takes us to the first part of the coast.

We start passing through Berango to later go to the beach area located in the municipality of Sopelana; frther on we go through the Barrika to go to the beautiful town of Plentzia and Gorliz.
We leave the coastal area of beaches behind to enter a cliff area that takes us to one of the most emblematic places in the Basque Country, San Juan de Gaztelugatxe (turismovasco.com/bizkaia/que-... -de-gaztelugatxe) a must to enjoy one of the most beautiful corners of the region.
We continue our way to the fishing and industrial town of Bermeo and to the Urdaibai Biosphere Natural Reserve (www.euskadi.eus/urdaibai/), there we visit small towns such as Mundaka and Sukarrieta until we reach Busturia.
Where we finish this stage and we encourage you to continue with us the next one that will take us through the rest of the Biscayan coast, relax and enjoy!!

A great drive, thanks for sharing it, enjoyed every km of the beautiful coastline. Very nice for me to see it, as because of lack of time I had to take the motorway from Bilbao to San Sebastian when I was in the area in september 2019. But next time I will make sure to plan enough time to drive on these secondary coastal routes.

I spend 4 days in Santander during my vacation in the area, and explored the Cantabrian coastal roads quite well. just that Basque Country was more like a drive thru area, visited just Bilbao and San Sebastian, but didn't planned unfortunately more time to explore the beautiful region. Will definetely come back there in the future.

Between Spain and France near of Pyrenees, the area is very beautiful but I want go to other places to record in different scenaries
