It's so natural and organic. Bees swatted in by hand to pollinate. Helpful insects dumped on by the bottle. Soil fresh from the factory. And sticks and wires to guide the plant growth. Water dripping by tube. So natural. It's just like nature!
May I ask one question as hobby farmer? What happens to the lowest leaves of each plant? These leaves are removed when lowest bunches of tomatoes start to grow. Why do you do that- are the leaves sick, or you want more sun and air to the bottom. Do I have to do that, when I grow tomatoes on open space?
we pick and remove from the plants. Each leaves has some life. young leaves gives support but old take energy from the plant. Meanwhile old leaves also get shadow effect to tomato fruit. But tomato fruit needs more light for red coloring. As you said air circulation needs other reason for remove those leaves at the bottom side because bottom side of plant has highest humidity level and less sun light.. Thank you.
Beautiful. Question: Did your enterprise ever have discussions of using Aquaponics to provide the nutrients? Not for fish farming but merely for the elimination of the chemical nutrients necessary in the absence of soil? I'm only asking out of curiosity because I waver back and forth between Hydro and Aqua and can't make up my mind.
This is impressive. Most farmers have to harvest their crops early so that the harvesting machines don't destroy the fruits. Which sucks because the ripening stage is when the fruit gets most of its nutrition. Looks like no ethylene is used here which provides a much healthier product.
u guys are really great... we have to learn lot more from you....I will inform this techniques to the farmers near my house... keep posting such videos
This movie was taken by Grodan in the Netherlands. They harvest 60 kg/m2 year by this way. Every thing is under control. They have enough profit. Last times i hear some of farmers can harvest 100 kg/m2/year together with lightening. Is it small harvest and small money?
Dear Victor, I work on this business as a consultant and constructor company. I install all those for my customer. For this i need many experience. I love agriculture and system of Hydroponics. This is the first rule for success.
1.00 hanging gutter and irrigation system. we placed coco peat slabs on that gutter instead of soil. Here are no any soil using due to pest management and fertilizer effect.
+D. EFE you are right again especially according to the soil type operation. even we don't need good soil. But the needs could change depends on marketing size.
+Erol SINAN so they can grow in floating greenhouses in the future not need to stay at the same place, move to where there is sun. Thank you for information.
Nice to know that you are privileged with some land to grow your own food. For others this 'industrial soilentgreen' is the next best alternative; cheap and available at your nearest supermarket.
Hello, are this your winery? could you tell me how much it would cost for 1 hectar surface? I find your interressante technique, could you tell me the advantage (suggest, performance, sales channel ....) I grow strawberries and green beans :) Regards Victor de France;)
Actually much more cost rather then traditional producing but much more profitable as well as productivity. Only think is the system not accept the imperfect setup. You need to supply all necessity of the system.. Success
Thank you, I'll look, I work pleain fields and I know nothing of working in a greenhouse or in large structure inside like yours, which is why I asked you advice on all the points that served you build your business I think it's great, I find boring to work on elevated for not having back pain. Your technical're off-the-ground? Here many do for strawberry. Es it difficult to start a business like yours? All advice is really the welcome :) Good continu to you;) Regards Victor
@richiexp2, thanks a lot for interest. i have already give answer below comments. If you need to a proposal, please write a mail to me and please kindly note your exact place, weather conditions as well as size of your target. Regards
how can i get tech surpport if i want to build one of this in my country. that's so cool. i believe that there is no need to talk about the taste, but this is the way to raise the earth people in the near future.
World is creasy! How could we imagine that this type of culture will provide nutritive, safe and tastefull fruits and vegetables? That's really a shame such a business!
I agree with highnote606 below, these hydoponically grown tomatoes are tasteless I don't know what their nutritional value is compared to homegrown tomatoes. 3 or 4 plants in your backyard can keep a family in tomatoes for 5 months, theyare extremely productive plants.
Thanks... I've gone to their website at Grodan.com and I would guess they sell it there, or have a list of distributors. Can't wait to try it out! Thank you so much for posting the video.
Hi Erol, I'd be interested too but I'm not sure where your comment is in the 50 plus comments, maybe you could put the details in the 'About' section. :)

very most lovely method of New modern agriculture.
How many times you can use the substrate?
some of farmers use 2 year but i prefer 1 time using for each production in a year..
why? it has to do with the yield?
it could be danger for second year if disinfection not enough effect to growing bag. This is risk.
Where are you from brother
