The style of the purse is just like this, it’s meant to depict a bucket
So usually a drawstring pouch is placed inside the purse, to keep your items intact

Thanks so much for this tutorial. How many pearl beads would you say are needed to make a bag of this size? And would you say that to make a larger/wider bag, that you continue to build up the base until it reaches the diameter you want, and then build upwards from here to make the rest of the bag?

I think I used about 175 pearl beads in total for this.
To make it wider, yes that may work, repeating the same base pattern twice, before you start the body of the bag. I haven’t attempted that before but it should work
Another thing that will work is using bigger size of beads. That would make your bag look bigger too.

@omowumihamdalat1470 Hi! I would say you need to start with a length that is moderate. If you use the total length at a go, it will get tangled. It will also affect the process, your work won’t be as firm because you’ll be struggling with the length of the line
So yes start with a moderate length. One that you can handle at first.

Could this bag be closed like could you attach a top to it, or a clasp? I never see it closed. Could you create one for us

Hello! This method is actually the enlargement method. If you want a bigger size of bag, you can use like a bigger size of beads for it
What to do when the wire ends in the middle? while making bag
Hello! You pass around your fishing line corner by corner. That is hide the line in between the beads
Follow the pattern with which you made all the way around, in the case of this Pearl bag, tie your work tightly so it doesn’t snap.

How much CM shall I take of the wire for one bag
Hello! So for this bag, I don’t know the precise measurement. But here there’s a portable line we use, it’s measurement is 100m in total
So I don’t use all of it for a bag of this size, like half and some extras for this entire bag. That’s 50m. 50m= 5000cm
So just use 5000-6000cm.
